DBR's Obedience & Boarding

Review will be updated when our dogs are returned. But I’m sad that I didn’t get to say bye to one of my babies. They just took him even when I was reaching & trying. I’m handicap & can’t just walk. Update as promised was 3 stars now 4 stars. According to the facebook page our 2 boys looked very happy. We just picked them up & will definitely use them again in the future. Very nice and respectful people

Jon and Rebecca are such great people! We took our dog here for potty training and we have boarded with them twice since then. We have had ZERO issues since the training and couldn't be more pleased. Rebecca and her boys do most of the puppy potty training program and it comes with some extra training and they really focus on bad habits that you've noticed and train on those as well. Rebecca wrote out EVERYTHING we would possibly need to continue the schedule that our dog was on from waking up to going to bed and everything in between! 10/10 recommend every time!

We have sent our Aussiedoodle to basic training and have have also boarded her with her rescue mixbreed sister when we went on vacation. We have had excellent experiences each time that we have trusted DBR with our girls! I would highly recommend them to anyone for obedience and/or boarding! They are very reasonably priced and have taken amazing care of our pups! The paperwork is super easy and drop off and pick up have always been a breeze! Exceptional experience through and through!

We signed our dog up for obedience training and he came back with such better focus. We can take him for walks now without him pulling and jumping (he was really bad at pulling beforehand). We would strongly recommend their services.

We will forever be thankful to Jon for giving our Leo (German/Huskey), and us back our quality of life. Dog obedience training not only helps the owners but it makes the dog's life forever better. I had given up all hope with Leo. He would bark at everything, get into everything, jump all over the furniture, and worst he was terrified of men. Jon trains with authority and is fair with his expectations and how to achieve his goals. He is exactly what Leo needed. We also took our Golden Retriever Luna and she did great. We now have calm, obedient, easy to live with dogs! The property the dogs train on is also very nice. Your dogs get to train in an area with beautiful pines and amazing kennels. Jon is quick to answer texts, and always encouraging. I loved the dog pictures and videos he posted on Facebook, it helps ease the 5 weeks without them. I felt the price was fair. My sanity was worth it. If you factor the cost of the 5-week training over 10 years with your dog, the price becomes more than fair. I would highly recommend Double Barrel Retriever. The words professional and top notch don’t go far enough to qualify Jon’s product and service to these animals. I delivered him an 8month old chocolate Labrador pup with more energy than the sun, and after 6 months Jon delivered me a near robotically disciplined partner that I will be able to partner with enjoyably for years to come. All the neighbors are happy and impressed by my dog’s discipline and temperament, and my life is much better with a well behaved and manageable dog. AND THATS NOT ALL, Jon also took all of that extra energy; focused and transformed it into a dog that can mark, obey, and retrieve on hunts. The dog will be a trusted hunting companion and family member for years thanks to Jon and his extreme professionalism. 10/10 very happy with partnering with Jon at double barrel retrievers! and I know he’ll be a trusted expert in the future. Best money I ever spent!!

Awesome place to take your dogs. We were a bit apprehensive taking our German shepherd anywhere to stay, but the care at this place was loving and very good with him.

Sent my 5 mos old dog there for basic obedience. Great experience. Would highly recommend!
