Had an appointment scheduled for today with the mobile grooming service for over a month. They called on Friday to confirm the appointment and sent a text message confirmation this morning however they never showed up and didn’t call. After an hour pass the scheduled appointment time I texted to see if they were still coming and was told that the trailer was stolen earlier this morning and that I was the one person that they forgot to notify 🤔. And this is not my first bad experience with this grooming service but it is most definitely the last!!

And changing your name to Darla’s Darlings is not going to help if you continue these bad practices!!

I feel like people should be warned about Alison and her grooming studio. I booked an appointment for July for my Labradoodle, was unable to make that appointment and rescheduled for the following week. I was charged $20 as a reschedule fee, which was fine as that was my bad. The following week I had a emergency and was unable to take my dog to the groomer and was charged $100. I then called dazzle dogs and spoke with someone who said that the owner would call me back. Alison did call me back and we spoke about our situation and she told me that, she would be happy to groom my dog and take the hit rather than having to pay one of her employees for our dog appointment as it had already been missed. when we spoke on the phone, she told me that she would give me some type of credit since I was out $120 and no services had been rendered yet. I was not expecting a full credit of the $120 but maybe $50. We never talked dollar amount, however, when I showed up today she was not there yet. And I was told that my dog would be with another groomer, I asked for them to give me a call as I was very confused on the situation. When the owner called me back, she was incredibly rude and harsh and said she never said that to me. And was basically yelling at me that I was lying. I said from one business owner to another I was not expecting the $120, but no services had been rendered yet. And as the owner, she was going to groom my dog and take the hit rather than having to play another employee. She said that was not what she said at all and was incredibly condescending and rude. And I said well then I guess I will have to write a yelp review and come pick up my dog. She had a attitude change and said are you threatening me? I said I'm not threatening you, I have that right to tell people about her bad business practices. I then told her it was her choice as, she could work with me and give me some kind of credit and groom my dog, or I could come pick her up. So I went and picked up my dog, and have not had any services rendered. I'm not saying I wasn't at fault for not being there for the cancelled appointment, but the owner should have at least worked with us as 120 for no services is A LOT! She could have easily given me 25.00 credit and I would have been fine with it, but she chose to lose a customer. If you are trying to book with this company, I would be very leery of their cancellation and rescheduling policy. DO NOT PUT YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION ON THEIR SITE AS THEY WILL CHARGE YOU WITHOUT LETTING YOU KNOW.

I am new to Colorado so I asked for recommendations for a groomer from a large fb group. I called Dazzle dogs and spoke to Lacey and she assured me that she had experience in grooming Goldens. When I picked up my dog , his lips and body were trembling and he immediately went to the floor. My dog has never had a bad experience and is always is a happy joyful pup. When I mentioned this behavior Lacey dismissed it and said he was just excited. Interesting enough she showed me a video of my pup kicking when she touched his foot (this was to cover up her mistake). Since I got him as puppy his feet have always been massaged so for her to suggest he didn't like having his feet touched was a red flag for me that something had happened.
After returning home my pup was withdrawn and exhibiting signs of pain. I consulted my vet after finding that one of his nails had been cut so short it split and was very close to the paw pad. Also he has a small cut on his privates. The least of the problems was the choppy haircut on his chest and ears. Not only does he need to be watched for infection but the vet said if he continues to lick his privates he should wear a cone. Again, I have taken my dog to groomers in the past and always get great feed back on his behavior. Anytime I have picked him up he was always happy.
I called the owner to express my concern and was very surprised by her reaction. No empathy, no apology just. She just said, "what do you want me to do about it?".

All of you reading this review love your pet as much as I do. Stay away.

Vienna did an amazing job grooming my Brittanydoodle. The shop was clean and I felt comfortable leaving my sweet pup. I will definitely be back. You guys are awesome!!! ❤️🐶❤️

Overpriced service for the quality and experience with pets. My 2 yr pup has been groomed before and is still getting use to it. He gets timid and scared with the blow dryer and is sensitive to claw trims.
I dropped him off at 1pm and picked him up at 4pm. I'm not sure how they keep the dogs kenneled, but he came home extremely thirsty
I was charged $75, plus $20, for his behavior, claiming he was showing teeth and not being still. They have other dogs in and out of the grooming area, distracting other dogs being groomed. The cut was mediocre, uneven ends, and I had to ask them to trim more off before we left. She complained and said it took two of them to groom him. I'm not sure if they use treats or muzzles to help them handle the animals, but it would be clever to have that in the policy and ask customer before the service in order for both groomer and pet to have a better experience.
Past groomers have worked with my pup, and one person was able to handle him just fine. I feel that the groomers need more experience with handling animals and understanding that animals will have different temperaments.

I went to a different groomers for 13 years and never once got the haircut I asked for. I went to dazzle dogs once and my pet came out looking like the picture that I had presented and asked for . I highly recommend this business. And a plus side is your dog won't spend all day in a kennel.

My Bernese is always happy to go to Dazzle dogs and their quality of work is consistently good.
