The bed was comfortable , nice quiet place. Breakfast was good, had all the things that most have. Workout room was very nice had two treadmills so my husband and I could walk together. After driving all day it is nice to get some moving in. Probably our first time in Days Inn and will stay again.

I had a great stay at this new hotel! The rooms were modern and very comfortable, like a little luxury retreat. I liked the free parking and free coffee in the morning—it was a nice touch. The free breakfast was tasty and convenient before heading out. Plus, having a Buffalo Wild Wings next door made dinner super easy. Overall, it’s a great place with everything you need. I highly recommend it!

I gave the hotel one star overall, even though the room, service, and location were excellent.

When we called and spoke to Samantha, the questions we asked were if there was a hot tub and if it worked. After being told yes, we booked the room for the night.

Immediately after getting our belongings into the room, we headed for the hot tub. The reason for the importance of a working hot tub is that my husband is dealing with leg muscle disability making walking difficult. The warmth and bubbling of a hot tub helps immensely to loosen up the muscles, making overall movement infinitely easier.

The water was nicely warm, but the bubble jets only worked for maybe 10 seconds. Samantha was called, and she attempted to get it running, also with no success.

Samantha left, saying she was going to call the manager. We never saw her again.

We stayed in the warm water for about 30 minutes. The step from inside the hot tub back up to the concrete flat surface is VERY steep. We attempted several moves to get my husband out of the hot tub with no success. I then went to the mechanical chair that is used to lift a disabled guest from either the pool or the hot tub. I tried everything to get the chair to operate, but clearly, there was no power going to it.

To aid in extracting my husband, I pulled one of the available plastic pool chairs near him. He finally got out of the pool and immediately into the plastic pool chair exhausted from the long physical struggle. When he had rested for just a short while, he attempted to get up from the plastic pool chair, and the back legs collapsed! He only weighs 192 pounds!!!

We were finally able to get him on his feet and slowly walked to our room.

To say we are disappointed by this whole long and horrible episode would be a huge understatement!

It could have been avoided by having equipment operate as promised with the hot tub and an operational disability chair to safely extract a guest from the hot tub.

We don't recommend this facility!

This hotel is pretty decent. I forget who the person at the desk was when we checked in the night of the 10th, but she was fairly cold and blunt. Not what I expect from hotel staff, but not the end of the world. The woman at the desk when we checked out, I believe her name was Ann, was the complete opposite. Very warm and bubbly, a real joy to chat with. The Texas shaped waffles available at breakfast are a cute touch and they also taste good, too!

Room was very clean. Hot tub and pool were awesome. Staff was very friendly. Slept super well with soft pillows and beds. Would highly recommend. Breakfast is phenomenal!

DO NOT READ ANY NEGATIVE REVIEWS!!!! I am a hotel snob. But I was not about to pay extra because I so tired to drive to Raton and Dalhart knows that. SO I took a chance on this hotel. I am so glad I did. From the check in process to the perfectly clean rooms, and the hottest and cleanest showers. Not to mention they will make sure that your stay is going OK. Look at my profile. I travel for a living and leave reviews wherever I go. Trust me. This hotel is worth it!!!!

I would recommend this Hotel.. the accommodations were fine.....but the staff was wonderful. We left something in our room and the staff was very helpful in getting it returned to us.
