Manny is a truly exceptional dog trainer! He worked with us on several challenging issues with our puppy, including crate training, obedience (sit, stay, down, and heel), understanding our dog’s psychology and temperament, socialization, and in-home training.

The results were immediate—Manny’s ability to connect with and get a response from our puppy felt almost magical. It’s clear this “magic” comes from his extensive experience, which he shared with us enthusiastically and with genuine care. Not only did Manny transform our puppy’s behavior, but he also equipped us with the tools and knowledge to maintain and build on that progress.

He was the epitome of professionalism: always punctual, highly communicative, and incredibly supportive. Manny made himself available to us 24/7, patiently answering all of our questions (no matter how many we had!).

What truly sets Manny apart is his dedication. He didn’t just train our puppy—he educated us about the breed and our dog’s unique personality. This extra effort gave us so much confidence as dog owners and made all the difference.

What a wonderful experience . I will be honest, at first I was nervous allowing my dog to go stay with someone I never met for 3 week. After meeting Kristi you knew right away this was a real dog trainer with a lot of experience . Throughout our pups stay she was always in contact sending following up videos of how he is doing , and also sent many videos on how to do commands that we will be using to help us keep up with his training.

His sit, down, come and stay commands are such a difference compared to when he first left. The tough guy attitude around our smaller dog and cats have changed and pays no attention to them, and if he does he’s a polite boy now.

I would highly recommend if you really want your pup to get into good habits early.

I had never owned a pet before, so I made many mistakes with my new puppy, which unfortunately created bad habits for us.
I knew that I had to find professional help because I did not want to have uncorrectable behavioral problems with my puppy once she became an adult.
I was hesitant about the Board & Train program for my puppy, so I began with One-to-One In-Home sessions. After meeting Kristi for the first session, I knew I wanted to enroll my pup in the (Board & Train) program with her. Her patience with us convinced me to sign up.
I was very anxious and nervous when my pup left for the program, so I messaged Kristi A LOT, and she was so understanding. I got updates on my pup daily, allowing me to watch her progress, too.
When Sadie (my pup) returned, I could not believe the difference in her behavior in just three weeks.
Kristi instilled the foundation she needed to improve her behavior, and now, I am working on reinforcing that foundation.
Kristi has given me the tools I need to create an excellent relationship with my puppy, and I am so grateful for that.
She helped to change the course of my relationship with my puppy for the better.
We still have In-Home sessions, and Sadie gets so excited when Kristi shows up, which assures me that I made the right choice with Dawgz & Stripes.

I highly recommend Dawgz & Stripes! Manny is an amazing trainer! He trained my Malinois in basic obedience, advanced obedience and protection. I absolutely enjoy the connection I have with my dog! She is so well behaved I can take her anywhere with no worries. I have traveled with her across the country, hiked mountains, gone into pet friendly stores and restaurants never having a problem. That being said she has stopped several threats and has kept me safe. Manny also trained my Boston Terrier through advanced obedience. I always get compliments on how well behaved my dogs are in public. Thank you Manny!

We had a great experience with Frank and Kristi for the training of Clutch our Mini Aussie. It’s our 1st puppy and we weren’t sure how to go by the entire process but Frank and Kristi made us feel very confortable. Clutch stayed full time with Kristi for 3 full weeks and she came back transformed in a positive way. She needed guidance to be more obedience. We were at 1st concerned to have to let Clutch for 3 weeks but it was worth it. Kristi was communicative with us and kept sending us video to update us on Clutch well being and progresses. It was great. Thank you Kristi and Dawgz and stripes.

We sent our dog Lucy to train with Kristi for four weeks. Lucy is a very sweet, high energy, exuberant and sometimes aggressive dog. Partly her breed, partly her puppyhood and partly just her personality. Agression has occurred mostly with me, her mom. We have spent quite a bit of money training Lucy before this with other trainers. Kristi by far has given us the best tools as to how to work with her to receive positive results. She is training us, as well as Lucy. Probably more us! Lucy is still very much a work in progress but I feel Kristi is giving us the best chance to turn her around. She is very tuned in to the dog and has a common sense approach to the training. And it is clear she loves what she is doing. I highly recommend her.

Manny has worked wonders with our 8 month old Doberman puppy. He was out of control, counter surfing, jumping all over the furniture, just being really naughty 24/7. Now he's a joy to be around, super well-behaved, much more calm and has mastered basic obedience. I can't recommend Manny highly enough!
