We got our dog, Tank, from Bryan and Bryce and have been as happy as you could ever expect to be. They do an exceptional job breeding high caliber hunting dogs who are great in the house with the family. He points, is steady, force fetched, runs great double marks, and came out of the womb looking for ducks. He lives for any retrieve and is as sweet as they come.

We had our Puppy train with them for only 6 weeks last year and what they did with him was incredible. We are sending Tank back for 3 more months this summer.

At all times the guys here have made themselves available to answer my questions, give advice, plan for what I want out of my dog, and assist with medical questions, which is above and beyond their obligation and has saved me at least one vet visit. I could go on, but rather I’ll just tell you that in all of my experiences they have been honest, competent, helpful, accommodating, and to boil it down, they just run a really high quality business.

Photo: the guys were nice enough to let us meet our dogs parents when we dropped him off for training. Very cool experience for us, and once again, above and beyond. Also, his first ducks, geese, and pheasant.

Bryce and Bryan have been wonderful to work with. They took the time to understand what I was looking for, then recommended a litter that fit. As a novice bird hunter, both were patient and not condescending in the slightest. We couldn't be happier with the temperament and drive of the puppy we ended up with.

We elected to send Walter back to them for training last summer and again, Bryan and Bryce impressed me. They listened to how I hunt and made recommendations on what we should and should not train with Walter.

Walter is now a year and a half old and halfway into his first hunting season. We've been hitting the MN public land hard and Walter is killing it. He's extremely high drive, but stays close and listens well. In the house, we have no concerns allowing him to play with our unpredictable 1 and 2 year old kids. We could not be happier.

I have a 4 year old British red lab from Coteau. She is everything they said she would be and more! I told them what I wanted in a retriever and they suggested a pup from a certain litter that they thought would fit. They were spot on! The retrieving instinct and drive in their dogs is incredible! I will get another pup from Coteau in the future! My wife would get one tomorrow if it were up to her!

Bryan and Bryce are two of the best around. I purchased a female pup from them in July of ‘22. Later that September, she went through the puppy program back at Coteau View Hunts and Kennels and I was then hunting her at 5 months old. The more we hunted, the more I saw multiple points and awesome retrieves from her later in the pheasant season. My pup is now back out at Coteau View for the 3 month gun dog training. Bryan and Bryce have been great about giving me updates and respond very quickly whenever I have questions. 10 out of 10 recommend!

I just picked up my pup from Coteau View Kennels. I can’t wait to give the review of the pup as he enters the field, but I must say that dealing with these guys couldn’t have been a better experience. I had some hiccups over an almost two year journey to get a pup, and they were right there the entire way.

The pick up yesterday was great. Easy guys to chat with and deal with. I have no doubt the pup will match the excellent service.

I would recommend CVK to anyone looking to into the process of getting a hunting lab.

We have now gotten 2 dogs from Coteau View Kennels and LOVE them! The guys are great to work with and always go the extra mile to help us and our dogs. Our dogs are the perfect mix of hunting dogs and family dogs! We highly recommend Coteau View Kennels!

Bryce and Bryan are total pros and have the ability to get the most out of a dog. They know how to maintain desire and generate dogs that live to hunt and retrieve. My Lab had his MPR title at two years and his Sr Hunter at three. And best of all, he goes seemlessly from house to field and fits right in with the family.
