This animal shelter is great! My dad and I went, and we were very impressed. The workers are very friendly and so are the animals. The reason I didn't give it a 5 star is because it kinda smells. If you are used to animals, it really won't bother you, but I'm pretty used to them and it still bothered me a bit. It was very clean though, you can even smell the bleach they use in the dog part of the shelter. Overall my favorite part was that the animals (especially the cats) were well trained and very kind, but of course I also loved how nice the lady was that helped us out. It's been talking with this rude woman about taking dogs that was dropped off at my property and I called like she asked only they never answer and then the lady practically called me a liar and I had to prove I'd called. She claimed to have told me cash or check when all she told me was 45 a dog. I can see why they put her at animal control is clear ...... just pray the dogs get good homes

I can not say enough about this shelter. We've been looking a long time for my son the perfect fur baby that fits his personality! We watch the posts each week finally we found her.
At the shelter, they bathed her and even chipped her before the adoption! And the cost was only $25! They made the adoption process easy for us and we were on our way to our new home with Jenny!

Jason has got to be the nicest person on this planet. He kept in contact and showed up when he said he would. He was so patient and kind to the kittens he was picking up and made everything so smooth and easy. Idk where yall found this man but he is a true asset to the crisp county animal shelter. Hang onto him!
