If you would like to see your dog become a better well adjusted family member, I strongly suggest you attend one of Pamela Leland's dog training classes. Not only are the prices reasonable, but the training and expertise she brings to dog training are top of the line. You'll wish you chose her first, instead of wasting money on inexperienced trainers. I have trained with her and this has been a real godsend to me especially with a strong-willed Airedale Terrier. I've been through AKC Canine Good Citizen with her and it has made a world of difference!!!

I highly recommend Pamela Leland for your dog training needs! She is highly educated in training and behavior from some of the top experts in Dog Training. She cares that you and your dog get what you need from the classes and makes it tons of fun! I have taken several of her classes and hope to take more because she makes them so enjoyable.

Pamela is an amazing dog trainer. I've worked with many trainers over the past 45+ years and am constantly impressed with her depth and breath of knowledge/insight into animal behavior. She has a keen eye for subtleties relative to the training process and has many times really helped to increase my effectiveness with my dog. She takes her role as a trainer seriously yet makes our classes super fun!!!!

We have been working with Pam LeLand for 5 months now and we highly recommend her to one and ALL!!!!!
We have seen a big improvement in our Labrador Retriever and we have learned skills to help us, help him.
We like her methods of training, her knowledge, her sense of humor and love for animals.

Excellent positive dog training center! I am currently taking Pamela Leland's Advanced Puppy class with my 5-month old pup. The class is fun and super helpful. I appreciate how Pamela explains things very well - that helps me better understand dog behavior and why we train certain ways to get results. Class sizes are small and Pam manages them expertly so that everyone gets individual attention. She also follows up with videos and suggestions between classes that I have found great reinforcement. Previously I have taken classes from the other CSDTC instructors - Kathy Stabler, Shelly Bergstraser and Sara Karl; all are also experts who similarly use multiple modalities to ensure each student-dog team "gets it" and progresses. Having taken dog training classes at multiple Colorado facilities under many trainers over many years, I highly recommend Colorado Springs Dog Training Center.

Wonderful place to train your dogs & puppies! Pamela is awesome, she clearly cares about the dogs and it shows. Her ongoing drop-in puppy classes have been a God-send for me, I've enjoyed them so much I'm on my 3rd go-round :)! They have been so much more valuable for me than the typical 6 week class - as you just can't train a puppy in 6 weeks. She offers classes for adult dogs as well, so was thrilled to get my older dog involved too. During this challenging time with Covid-19, she has been thinking outside of the box on what she can do to continue to help us with our dogs including on-line classes. And prior to the virus, she was already coming up with new ideas for different classes. She clearly has a passion for what she does - and it is appreciated! Colorado Springs Dog Training Center has been invaluable to me & my dogs and I look forward to more classes in the future!

During this past year, Ms, Leland went out of her way to meet the needs of each of her clients individually. She conducted zoom classes for those of us who could benefit from that platform. We were able to complete the requirements for multiple levels of AKC Trick Dog titles -- which was fun and encouraging at a time when classes could not meet in person. For folks who needed hands-on training for behavior problems with their dogs, Ms. Leland took each dog for a personal session. In only 20 minutes of training, Ms. Leland taught our dog to back up three body lengths -- a behavior she has maintained for nearly a year!
Ms. Leland has also provided us with dozens of videos demonstrating ways in which she and others have approached training behaviors sequentially. These videos have been invaluable while we were required to stay at home.
I saw a Google review that complained that Ms. Leland hadn't returned a call. If someone found this not to be so -- then perhaps a glitch in transmission occurred. She always returns calls, texts and emails.
Ms. Leland gives us her entire attention when she's working with our dog. We are the ones she's training -- she watches for timing, rhythm of positive response and reward, body language, verbal cues -- we could go on and on....She's an amazing teacher/trainer! We are blessed to work with her.
