Katherine did an amazing job grooming our very anxious dog in record time. Usually it takes 4 hours. This time it was under 2.5 hours. She made him feel safe and comfortable. When we left he looked stunning. The facility is clean, fun, and peaceful. The indoor/outdoor play area was really helpful when Howard needed short breaks. Highly recommend.

Wow, absolutely the WORST place to bring your cat. In the devastation of the LA fires, we had just rescued a stray cat without a tail from the Palisades fire who was covered in ash and soot. We brought him in for a full clean - a bathe, ear cleaning, nails trimming, deshedding, etc. After the service, he was still filthy (please see the attached pictures): his ears still filled with soot, his nails fully sharp with NO sign of trimming at all, his poor white paws still dirty, and he was shedding so much. He also came back with fleas despite already being flea-tested at the shelter when he was rescued. When we picked him up, he had pooped in the carrier and they remarked on it, but did nothing about it. I had to ASK for a paper towel to clean it up. The audacity of a near $200 service for absolutely nothing is abusrd. When we called them for a solution, Paul was incredibly rude and dismissive saying that they are too busy. This poor cat had just survived one of the most HORRIFIC natural disasters and all they could focus on was money without providing a service, let alone being polite or empathetic. We will be escalating this issue publicly and asking the humane society we picked him up from to post this.

Also, the staff only wanted to take pictures to post on the store's Instagram to virtue signal they helped a fire rescue. Absolutely disgusting behavior.

Amazing team here they really took great care of our baby girl Bailey. She looked stunning. The owner really explained their services to me and I can say they are worth every penny. Bailey was so happy and is usually scared of groomers but she was just freely running around and happy when we came to pick her up. Thank you to the entire team!

Paul and the team at Collar and comb were very approachable and easy to work with when I called them about a foster dog that I had taken in who, while incredibly cute, was also incredibly stinky. Paul was patient and kind throughout the booking process and reassured me about their practices with new and nervous dogs. When I found out 24 hours later that I wouldn't need the service because my foster had already been adopted and would be leaving prior to our appointment, Paul helped me cancel my appointment without any fuss or issue. 10/10 customer service, I would absolutely use C&C in the future.

I’m so happy I found this groomer 🙏 Sunset & La Brea do such a wonderful job! My dogs have been to both locations. The groomers take their time and make sure their haircuts are perfect. Let me tell you… my dogs have had some bad haircuts in their day… but not anymore!!! ✨The groomers at Collar & Comb are friendly and the dogs come home happy, fresh-n-clean. The groomer also gives a report card on how they did, it’s so cute. I spoke with the owner the other day over the phone and they are also willing to give discounts on services if you schedule regularly. I plan to sign up for this, as the prices are on the higher end… but you get what you pay for!!! It’s worth it!!!

I recently took my furry friend to the Pet Spa
( Collar & Comb) and I must say, it was an incredible experience for both of us! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the friendly and professional staff who made us feel right at home.

The spa itself was spotless and had a calming ambiance that immediately put my pet at ease. The facilities were top-notch, with state-of-the-art equipment and a wide range of services to choose from. Whether it was a relaxing bath, a stylish haircut, or a soothing massage, the Pet Spa had it all.

What truly impressed me was the level of care and attention given to my pet. The groomer were not only skilled and knowledgeable but also genuinely passionate about animals. They took the time to listen to my concerns and preferences, ensuring that my pet received the best possible treatment.

During the grooming session, my pet was pampered with gentle care and love. The groomers paid attention to every detail, from ensuring a comfortable temperature to using high-quality products that left my pet's coat shiny and healthy. They even took the time to trim my pet's nails and clean their ears, going above and beyond my expectations.

After the grooming session, my pet looked and smelled amazing! It was clear that they had enjoyed their time at the Pet Spa and felt refreshed and rejuvenated. The staff even provided me with some helpful tips and recommendations for maintaining my pet's grooming at home.

I can't thank the Pet Spa enough for the outstanding service they provided. They truly exceeded my expectations in every way possible. If you're looking for a pet spa that combines expertise, care, and a tranquil environment, I highly recommend giving the Pet Spa a try. Your furry friend will thank you!

I’m extremely disappointed with the way Paul, the owner of this pet salon, treats his clients. He acts like customers are a burden and shows absolutely zero respect for the people who keep his business running. His attitude is condescending and unprofessional, making the entire experience uncomfortable and frustrating.

What’s even more upsetting is that he has some talented and hardworking groomers on his team who seem to truly care about the pets. I honestly feel bad for them because they’re stuck working under someone who clearly doesn’t value his clients—or the amazing work his staff does.

Until Paul learns how to treat people with respect, I cannot recommend this place to anyone. It’s such a shame because the groomers deserve better!

Was in town with my dog @petitmamapia for a work trip and needed a last minute day care service so a friend suggested collar & comb and the service was phenomenal!!!! I also added a bath for my baby girl after a long trip of traveling airports she needed a good scrub down. Aaron was incredible sending me photo updates through out the day. I love that I picked her up clean and she smelled so good!! Not overly perfumy like other groomers. Highly recommend collar and comb to any dog owners in the area needing a daycare or groomer!
