They are always so good for my dog care and boarding, however this past weekend they blew me away. It was a packed house for vet care appts on a Saturday, and the vet took such care of us and even calm and patient enough to let my kiddo hear her new kitty’s heart beat and showed her the dye and what she was looking for in the blue light. It meant so much to me that she included her in every step and explained it all to her because before going in she asked if she could be the one to be in charge since it’s “her kitty”, however she’s wouldn’t make that known to the vet, and yet somehow the vet picked up on it or is just awesome and includes everyone. Hands down the best vet appt I’ve ever been to and with 3 kids to boot.

I have used Coal Ridge Animal Hospital for 21 years. I have liked all of the veterinarians that we've had with our pets. The practice doesn't ever recommend tests that aren't needed and give you all the options. They are very caring when I've had to put down pets. I recommend them to anyone who asks for a local vet.

I met Dr. Rushing bringing my German Shepherd in for breathing issues. Dr. Rushing called me each morning with updated news on blood work and results. She was so professional, kind and I can thank her enough with how she handled everything . The sad news turned out that it was cancer and I had to make the unfortunate decision to put my sweet baby down. Dr. Rushing and their staff were so kind, supportive and loved my sweet fur baby just as much as I do. Cavo stole everyone’s heart and he left this earth surrounded by family and the incredible staff at Coal Ridge. Thank you for making this painful transition peaceful, kind and so loving.

There are not enough words with how grateful I am and we’ve found our forever vet.

We have been going here for years!!! Even after moving from Firestone still traveled back to have them see my animals. While the due diligence use to be great, it isn’t anymore. I took my dog for a nail trim, and was told when I left that I had no balance due. Then get a few calls for collections for the 40.00 but never was invoiced or spoken to about this, and they then send threatening voicemails to send me to collections? I get when money is due it needs to be paid promptly, but this voicemail was threaten and so unprofessional. After all these years or loyalty snd 1000s of dollars I have spent here. I won’t go back simply put of principal. Sad that they have let this place go to where they don’t even know when money is due or not. Sadly after paying it and talking to them they do not care about loosing us as clients.

The vet’s approach was very cold and accusatory. I brought by guy in for a popping noise in his knee and the vet then pointed out every small issue he had and looked at me like I was a terrible parent. The animal hospital he went to after to correct his knee issue looked at everything this place pointed out and said it was all normal for an aging dog and nothing needed to be done. The Coal Ridge vet also prescribed double the dose needed of medication and caused very rough withdrawals for my dog. He vomited and was shaking for a full day once he stopped taking the prescribed medicine. I would never take my pup to this clinic again. I will drive an hour to go elsewhere before going here again.
The only good thing I can say is the place was relatively clean.

Dropped by to get a copy of Maddie’s shot record because we are moving to North Dakota and as I walked out I found myself hoping we find a vet this awesome as Coal Ridge. Miss Maddie Moo was loved here and taken such good care of❤️❤️❤️

We used this facility to board our dog for few days. I think we've found a gem. Their staff is very friendly and seems to be doing a great job. Since this place is also a hospital it gives me better assurance that my dog will be in good hands in case any medical attention is needed.
There rates are very reasonable. I highly recommend you to try this facility.
