I have two beautiful Rottskys, Gypsy is about 6 I adopted her march 2021 history completely unknown and cypress I purchased from a woman who had an accidental litter with her Rottweiler and Husky.

Gypsy was a wild girl with no manners she was a bit of a bully and acted out in very strange and intense ways, basically making it impossible for me to leave her alone. I was fostering her at the time and we had an instant connection, when we were together she was wonderful, she’s very smart eager to please.if she didn’t get her way she was impossible, and she only ever wanted to be by my side.

Cypress was 11 weeks when I brought her home, July 2021, she was scared of EVERYTHING, me, sounds, her own shadow.. she wouldn’t go to the bathroom outside because of cars and people.. also she growled at me, hid under chairs tables.. pretty much anything and everything..

Both girls went to training Gypsy for almost 6 weeks with Nick and his team.

Fast forward and the girls are doing so amazing. Gypsy has blossomed into such a happy, secure, affectionate girl who can be left alone in her kennel without a fuss.. also slowly but surly trusted more alone outside kennel. She loves being included which now with her excellent manners she gets to almost everything with us since she knows how to behave in any situation. I can finally trust her in my car if I need to run in somewhere real quickly. It’s amazing. Not even our year anniversary of adopting her yet! Such a huge success story.

Meanwhile baby cypress improvements are leaps and bounds from the unsocialized back woods weirdo that growled and literally bit Nick at her first puppy session with him. Now she’s a bubbly, sweet, playful, smart girl that loves to cuddle and lounge around the house, it’s incredible.

We continue to make improvements daily but they are just a joy to be around and take on adventures.

I took my time to research and interview a lot of dog trainers in the Denver area before settling on Chomps and it was a life saver. I purchased a corgi puppy and was going through a big transition in my personal life at the same time and really needed someone to help with Deebo. No one really tells how you hard puppies are! They just tell you how cute they are but man it was a chore.

I ended up doing the two extensive training programs with them and deebo went away and came back another dog. Super confident, not reactive, responsive and so well behaved. The were able to teach him leash, recall, responsiveness, demands, and I get so many compliments on how well behaved deebo is (a corgi too!)

Not only do I have an amazing confident dog but I am confident in bringing him out without the worry of him misbehaving. They also took the time to respond to my calls, texts and work with me and him on his puppy issues.

I can honestly say that this was the best big money investment I've made into myself in a long time. So incredibly worth the money!

I genuinely can't recommend this place enough! Nick is an incredible trainer of both dogs and humans. He not only trained my dog Kaya, but has also taught me how to continue with her training. I have a very energetic and high drive dog and Nick helped harness her energy and teach me how to set firm boundaries which has resulted in a better relationship between me and my dog. I am very protective about my dog and was hesitant to hand her off to someone, but Nick cares so much about his client's dogs and I knew she would be in great hands. The results speak for themselves. I almost never leave reviews but Chomp's Training was just that good. I can't recommend them enough.

I'm so incredibly grateful for the training Benji received at Chomps Dog Training. Benji is an adult rescue dog and I would come home crying from our walks when his anxiety and reactivity were at their worst, feeling utterly helpless as how to help him. I could never have imagined we'd be where we are today a year ago.

Today Benji is absolutely crushing his training and we are preparing to take the AKC Canine Good Citizen test, which I know he'll ace. Benji's engagement and focus are now at a whole different level thanks to exercises and approaches Nick taught us. He is way less anxious and has mellowed out a lot around other dogs to the point that we are now going on group walks in the park, something which would have been unimaginable a couple of months ago.

My bond with Benji continues to grow stronger and he is such a happy dog today. It's so fun and rewarding to see him progress. I couldn't done this without Nick and Ana's help, and I can't recommend Chomps Dog Training enough.

I took my Pit Bull to Chomps and they took great care of her and trained her incredibly well. Prior to training, she would lunge at other dogs on walks and got into a couple of fights at the dog park. She was with the staff for 4 and a half weeks and she came back a different dog, no more lunging at other dogs and walking normal next to me. They were also able to point out that she wasn't an aggressive dog but was more scared of the high energy/spastic dogs. They also taught me how to pick up mannerisms and some of the body language that she was exhibiting. I have been able to have her off leash on walks and in the front yard and other people and dogs can walk by and she doesn't care anymore. I have been extremely happy with the program they had us go through and my dog is now able to go just about anywhere with me.

We Took our dog who had crazy separation anxiety and behavior issues here. She’s so well trained now we actually didn’t believe it for awhile haha - she goes in and out of the kennel easily, no accidents in the house, great on the leash and great with other dogs, she can be at home without us and isn’t losing her mind, her recall is 100% she’s more confident and responsive, I could go on… You definitely need to keep up with the training and do what they tell you to after pickup but it is SO worth it. These guys know their stuff. We’ve got the best pup now!

I have reviewed Chomps before. Our Standard Poodle, Kansas, was trained by Nick and his crew. We sent him to Nick when he was 6 months old. He is now 19 months old and his training stuck. Reinforcing the training is key! Kansas periodically goes to Chomps for a bit of a refresher when we go out of town. 100% believe in and trust Nick!!

Chomp's dog training has been an incredible resource for me to build a better relationship with my dog Frances. She had some behaviors that were super annoying and largely due to boredom. Chomp's has helped me develop ways to keep her engaged mentally that are easy to incorporate in my busy schedule. It has made dog ownership even more fun and made our relationship so much better. I cannot recommend Chomp's enough!
