Love the store Carters so much, have gotten animals from them and love their wide selection. Do not like Trevor in the fish department, he’s sold me sick fish that gave my whole tank ich. Time passes and I had went back to ask for terrarium plants and he sold me plants in the aquatics tanks telling me that they would be fine in my frog tank. Called the next day to ask him about why they were wilting and made me feel dumb telling me well yeah they’re supposed to be in fish tanks.

Man, I had a issue with my pup and issues with certain foods , medical and biology professional, I was lost.
This is my fur baby and I reached out to staff and immediately, I was given sound professional feedback in a empathetic way. They love your dog, cat , birdie or pet in general as thier own and I really can say they are the best in town.

Show up an hour if possible? I was 3rd once clinic opened I believe It took less than 20 minutes to be seen, pay, and go.

All the fishes we bought from this store died within days. We bought a total of 4 fish, and they appeared skinny and malnourished. Some even appear sick. We tried our best to feed them and adjust them to our tank. We called to ask about what we should do before they died, and they asked us to bring in a sample of our water. They tested our water and the water was completely fine. We have had our salt water tank for a year now and have about 20 fish in our tank. All the fish we had since we had our tank are still alive. They only offered us store credit that's half the amount of the cost of each fish. They didn't have a refund as part of their policy. Most of their fish appear in bad shape and when they checked our water, most of the fish they had in their tanks were dead. They should change their return policy for fish because it's never customers fault if they're selling sick fish. They should be treating the fishes for diseases before selling them. All our fishes appear sick now and dying one by one. The fish we bought from them had Marine Velvet. Which infected our entire tank.

My favorite pet store. All of my critters came from here so far. 3 Tarantulas,4 scorpions and a centipede!
This store is ALWAYS: CLEAN, ORGANIZED, LOTS OF EMPLOYEES WHICH ALSO BRINGS LOTS OF HELP.
THEY WILL HELP U WITH ANYTHING U NEED.
THIS WHOLE STORE BRINGS GOOD VIBES.
WATCH OUT FOR the vagrants. They are everywhere in this area but usually not too much at this store, but don't trust it.

I had a very disappointing experience at Carter’s Pet Store. I purchased a pet from them for my kids, Unfortunately, the pet passed away within just two weeks. When I reached out to the store to request either a replacement or a credit, I was met with resistance. The staff and manager told me that all sales were final and refused to make any accommodations, despite the pet’s early demise. This was incredibly upsetting, especially for my children, who were heartbroken by the loss and the store’s lack of empathy. What made it even worse is that other pet stores in the area offer a 30-day return policy in case an animal doesn’t survive, which is something Carter’s clearly does not. It felt as though customer care was not a priority, and I left feeling frustrated and deeply disappointed by the whole experience.
