Today, we said goodbye to our beloved 15-year-old pup Charlie. It’s been an incredibly emotional day for our family, but I wanted to take a moment to share our experience.

We took our Charlie to

Nancy Swartz and Chris helped me make the arrangements a couple days ago. The process was emotional but Nancy’s kindness, compassion and gentle touch made it as smooth and comforting as possible.
The Love, care and respect shown to him in his final moments meant the world to us and this is why I'm sharing.

While it’s hard to write this kind of review, we truly couldn’t imagine going through this with anyone else. Thank you, Nancy and Chris for providing our sweet Charlie with the best possible comfort. We didn't feel like we were in a stressful veterinarian's office, we felt like we were visiting someones warm home. They also gave us the option of coming to our home but that option didn't feel like it was right for us.

If anyone ever finds themselves in this heartbreaking situation, I wholeheartedly recommend Carol’s Kennel. They also have affordably priced cremation services and different urns and memorabilia.

Rest in peace my Charlie. You’ll always be in our hearts.

Food was good. Came out quickly when ordering just 1 meal from self serve screen. Floor was sticky by both drink stations and it was unclear where to put my dishes and tray after dining in. Assumed free drink refills but no sign about that. Washroom was clean.

They were very kind and patient with me. I spent some time with my baby and then left. But I found myself returning to make a cast of my baby's paw and tail tip, they came back out and did that for me. I wonderful place to say goodbye to a beloved companion other than a noisy animal hospital, and even have a few words or memories shared in an inviting warm space.

St Francis has taken care of my animals when they passed away. They are so thoughtful and caring .

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I had a horrible experience with this place. My dog was not well taken care of. He was thrown into a small crate when we arrive to drop him off. They won’t show you where your dog will be staying because there are “other dogs there”. They tell you your dog will be in a big space but how my dog has reacted since being home makes me believe that he was left in a tiny crate the whole time we were away. My dog came home scared and shaking. He also looked like he hadn’t eaten in 5 days or have any water (he drank 2 full big bowls of water when we got home). I brought a bag of all of his toys and treats and they didn’t give him any of it. They have a man who doesn’t speak any English running the grounds so it was very hard to communicate with him what my dogs needs are and I felt like he didn’t really care about my dog at all. Not to mention, they charge you by the day instead of by the night. They charged me for 7 days when my dog was only there for 5 full days. I dropped him off at 9am and picked him up at 9am and they charged full days. I will never ever bring my dog here again or recommend this place to anyone. I hope this review finds someone well!

I have been using this facility to board my dogs for over 15 years. In this time period I have had 5 fur babies that have had their vacations there, all without any issues. The business is professional and they have always been able to accommodate my boarding date requests.

Unfortunately 0 stars is not an option. It’s 52 degrees, pouring rain today, and they wanted to leave my dog in an outside kennel until they were ready to wash him. They kennel had a tarp on top but it was tattered and leaking. The ground inside was just as wet as outside. There was a water bowl that was empty. I told the employee it wasn’t ok to leave my dog outside like that in this weather he laughed. So I went and took my dog and left. If you care about how your pet is treated like I do, avoid this place.

Dog stays in a small crate for 23 hrs of the day. Charges does not make sense, they charge you for each day (if you drop off today at 5 Pm and pick up tomorrow at 9 Am they count as 2 days). Giving 2 stars cause price is really good. Paid $20.00 per day for my 105lb bulldog.
