I love this place. I took my 4 month old corgi there for their puppy training class. I had a great time, and Magic immediately loved going there. I just finished the Agility Foundation training class and I'm moving on to Level 1 Agility. The trainer Patti is great. She's very honest with me and that helps make a better handler. She is very patient with me......and Magic. Maybe it's because she has Corgis too, so she gets it. My dog escaped the ring once and Patti yelled "Pembroke on the lose!" Funny.

My son attended Car-Dun-Al Dog Obedience Training Club's Kids and Dogs training class. Jerry McEvilly was a very patient and engaging instructor. The group of kids enjoyed learning and training their dog. It was fun to see the confidence build in every child and dog team that participated. My son was able to go on and get a CGC title with our Irish Wolfhound after the training. I highly recommend this program for anyone with kids looking to build their relationship with their pet and learn to train.

If you're a proponent of pinch collars, choke collars and throw chains, then this is the dog training facility for you. The club's philosophy is based on the Koehler method of "correction" training. I suggest you read about Koehler BEFORE signing up for a class so you don't waste your money like I did.
I've used positive reinforcement training with three different dogs over 35 years and successfully competed in obedience and agility. In my experience, heavy handed training isn't necessary for most dogs and the majority of situations. I took the class because it was a requirement to become a member and I was looking for a facility to practice agility.

Went for a dog show. 2 restrooms that are unisex, nicely kept. Get there early for a show parking for disabled is very limited. Can be hard to find if you have never been there before. Go all the way to the back. There is a parking lot and a water retention pond. Nice place to exercise your dog.

Fantastic training and the people who run the classes and facility are amazing! I will keep bringing my big puppy here for classes for quite some time. You can tell they love what they do. Highly recommend!

Brought several of my puppies here. They really have a personal touch and take extra time to make sure you understand exactly what and why something is being taught. My teacher has always been Holly and see is awesome. Holly is has a lot of patience and gives you that extra one one one attention if your puppy is struggling to “get it”. This will definitely be the place I bring my dogs as long as I’m in the Huntley/crystal lake area. Thanks Holly!
