My daughter loves riding with Sarah and her staff! They are amazing with her, and her love for horses has increased two-fold. She rides, but is also shown how to groom and care for the horse.. it’s above and beyond a typical lesson!

My daughter has been riding with Canty Rune for almost a year. They are very friendly, knowledgeable, and my daughter is progressing very nicely! We are so happy we found Sarah and Emily! My daughter has found her niche!

They seemed nice at first. However, we didn’t have the best experience with them. I had my son go to their first initial ride/lesson $60 which was suppose to be a little bit over an hour. Emily told him , oh we forgot about you , so we won’t be able to ride that long today. Then Sarah I assume the manager of the place reached out to us for payment I simply asked if it was still $60 because my son didn’t get to ride for a long time only about 15 minutes. Sarah was pretty rude when responding to me , like “I don’t know what you mean about not riding long”. They basically tried to blame it on my son which I felt was really weird. None the less I didn’t argue I just paid them the full price. They had suggested they wanted him to do Tuesdays at 4, every week for his monthly program. So Tuesday comes along and I confirm he is still to show up at 4, and they said no, that was just for that day which is a load of horse dung because we had a long text about him coming that day etc. I could tell she was just being a you know what, just because of them messing up on the first meeting and is inquiring about that. We will take our businesses elsewhere . Thankfully there are plenty of horseback riding places in ojai. If you are looking for a woman to work with who is on her high horse then choose this place. If you want someone down to earth keep searching. They simply could have been nice and say sorry about that we got busy we will give your son an additional ten minute next time for example. Anyway maybe it just wasn’t meant to be.
