Maureen has helped us so much, initially with our first rescue dog and then with our second rescue too. We had a very hard time getting them acclimated to each other and it was a very stressful situation. Maureen helped us every step of the way and now our dogs love each other! We chose Maureen after checking out websites and reviews of several dog trainers. To us, her character stood above the rest, and we liked her style of positive reinforcement. In person, she even surpassed our high hopes! As soon as we met her, we could see why she has such a great reputation. She was wonderful with our dogs, and we loved how they responded to her. You can tell that Maureen clearly loves her work, and also loves the dogs that she trains. She's excellent and we highly recommend her!

Training a dog should be individualized with multiple training techniques to achieve success. While the basics are the same, the personalities of the owners and dogs add to the challenge of dog training. Maureen met with us and took time to get to know us. As we worked together, she noted the way both of our dogs learned. Their learning styles are different. As a result, we (dogs, husband and myself) were successfully trained. One example was teaching the pups to come when called. Kira, who was 6 month old when we started) whips her head around when she hears my voice and comes running. Woot!
