Julie is absolutely AMAZING. My puppy was just 13 weeks old when she went to be trained with Julie. Julie was so patient, kind and loving towards my baby. She is home now and she is so well behaved and attentive. I still have 2 more at home training sessions with Julie as well and I think that’s amazing how she follows up. Words can’t explain how much we appreciate CanineJulz and all she’s done for Copper and our family. We came to her to seeking help on his jumping, pulling on the leash, anxious barking and resource guarding. She gave us that confidence we needed to help Copper be set up for success both at home and in a public settings. Our main goal was to have a safe/happy environment for both Copper and our 5 and 4 yr old kiddos. I have known Julie for several years now and I cannot say enough good things about her and her business! She is the best trainer and dog person I have ever worked with. I work as a veterinary technician and have taken on a couple behaviorally complicated dogs (Jake and Buddha). Every step of the way, Julie has been there to help me work through their "issues". Not only has she taught me and my husband (who has never worked with complicated dogs) so much about working with dogs with behavior issues but she truly changed Jake's life from an insecure, reactive, unpredictable dog to a confident, calm, and trustworthy fur-friend. In addition to helping Jake directly, working with Julie has given my husband (Mike) the confidence and trust necessary for working with Jake. She helped Mike and Jake strengthen their bond and it has been amazing to watch.

Buddha came to me as a euthanasia case for aggression. I decided to keep him and give him another chance. I called Julie shortly after I got him and explained his situation and asked for her help. She was absolutely essential to Buddha's rehabilitation. She explained that his "aggression" was fear based and worked with him to win his trust and then she taught me the skills necessary to work through it. I now have a happy, loving old dog who isn't afraid of the world, all because Julie truly cares and pours her heart and soul into her work. Thanks to Julie, I personally have 2 wonderfully confident and sweet dogs. Thanks to Julie, I have applied the behavior skills she taught me to dogs I interact with at work.

Professionally, I have watched her work with dogs that were untouchable in the beginning but after time with Julie, they were completely different dogs- happy, well adjusted, confident pets that enjoyed meeting people. Pretty amazing to see! Like I said, I cannot say enough good things about CanineJulz.

We have been utilizing Julie's services for about 3 years. She was referred to us by a friend who had been very happy with the results she achieved with her dog. I first hired Julie to train my daughter's Rottweiler that had a lot of energy and not much direction. The Rottie spent three weeks with Julie and came back an entirely different dog. After the in-board training, Julie has gone above and beyond to provide ongoing support for my daughter who has little ones at home. We viewed this website and trusted Julie with our beloved Australian Shepard - Ozzie (who is 17 months old) to watch him while we went away on a family vacation. We were horrified to find out that he was viciously attacked, suffered multiple bite wounds from other dogs and required emergency surgery to address the massive infection that had been festering for over a week untreated. We discovered that the dogs (n~10) were not supervised and left unchecked for hours. My wife had to fly home to literally save him from this person and adding insult to injury - Julie offered to pay for our expenses - only to run from the situation and to this day has not returned our calls or offered to pay for the pain and suffering our dog and family experienced.

Please think three times prior to trusting this person with your pet. We seek to prevent harm to other innocent people and their pets from this coward who failed to honor her commitments and continues to run from her responsibilities.
