The puppy school was fantastic. Caro treated the puppy and us with patience and respect throughout the entire process. I've raised and trained many puppies myself and still learned a great deal from the courses. We were left with a fantastic knowledge of the psychology of our dog and in turn are well armed to help introduce her to all new things she will discover in the world. Also the training exercises were simple to perform, and have already yielded great dividends while teaching our puppy at home.

I would highly recommend the puppy courses for anyone with a new dog. Regardless if you have plenty of experience training dogs, or none at all, this course is extremely beneficial either way.

It was a great time all around, and we will be signing up for the obedience courses as well.

Caro is AMAZING! I would highly recommend Canine University to all dog owners. We worked with a different trainer when we first got Murphy at 8 weeks old and found that there wasn’t enough consistency, we were getting mixed messages, and we truly didn’t know what to do.
This all changed when we found Caro. She is kind, patient, professional, and respectful of both the humans and dogs she works with. Murphy is too smart for his own good and this often results in him being very stubborn. Caro has been so patient with Murphy and with me as she teaches us how to effectively communicate. The differences we have seen since we began obedience training at Canine University are huge! We finished up Basic Obedience and loved it so much that we are now starting Intermediate Obedience. We look forward to going each week as the experience is fun and fulfilling thanks to Caro!

We had such a great experience with Canine U! Our dog Zeppelin did the basic obedience courses, as well as several “all dogs are good dogs” classes to help with his reactiveness. We learned so much in our classes on how to best handle him & reinforce training. He was always “good”, but Caro helped us realize his potential! We were at a total loss for his reactiveness before the classes, but she helped us train him to be comfortable with a muzzle & how to lessen his negative reactions to certain dogs. So thankful!

If I could give 10 stars, I would!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND CANINE UNIVERSITY!! Caro is so amazingly passionate about what she does and it absolutely shows. My little guy is very high energy and she was so patient with him. The training is one on one (which I loved) and I was then integrated so that I could learn along with my pup... otherwise, whats the point, right? If I had any questions in between training sessions, Caro was very responsive, quick, and very detailed even through email correspondence. I really can't say enough about how happy and satisfied I am. Myself and Benny just finished our basic obedience and we can't wait to get started on the next level.

The Basic Obedience course was the perfect thing for my pup Lasso at the perfect time. The location was convenient and beautiful, Caro is an amazing trainer and human being, and by the end of the course I was actually shocked what Lasso could do. I underestimated how much I could teach him - he was able to stay in position for 3 minutes even while another distracting dog passed him. The weekly practice helped me learn to set reasonable goals and expectations for what my puppy can learn now and in the future, and reminded me it's ok if he sometimes takes a step backward, since I know he'll improve if I just stay consistent. The format of courses was on Saturdays and Sundays, with Caro teaching basics on the first day then relaying those lessons to me on Sundays when I'd practice them with Lasso. This helped me be more confident and avoided overwhelming my dog by breaking the lessons up. Highly recommend not just for the class but the fact that you'll meet other puppies and dog owner friends while taking the course too!

Caro is amazing- she helped us teach our 2 year old rescue who didn't know any obedience when we got him (he was so afraid to even sit down), he has improved so much with Caro's help and now others are always commenting they can't believe how far he has come and how well trained he is in a short time. He is so much happier and more confident, and this is helping so many other things including his separation anxiety. She has also been a great source of information for tons of questions as we are first time dog owners, and does bonus work with him whenever we need extra help with a specific behavior outside of training. Caro uses only positive training methods, which is what our initially fearful dog needed!
