I only have good things to say about Kurt. He cares so much about the pups, but also the people. He takes the time to get to know you and your dog's needs in order to create a plan that you can actually and realistically implement in your life; he works with you to set your pup up for success. Working with Kurt has truly helped my dog, Mia, become so much more confident and happy. She now LOVES going to daycare at Canine Conservatory (she starts to do her excited cry when we get off the freeway). I am forever grateful for all that Kurt has done for me and my pup, and I cannot recommend him and his business enough.

I was fortunate to learn about Canine Conservatory when my pup was 6 months old. He was a pitbull/lab mix rescue. Adorable, but with no impulse control, pulled on every walk, and it felt impossible to get him under control. Within a year, he transformed into a well behaved, attentive animal that follows commands and has great recall. I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome. He made gains very quickly in the first few sessions with Kurt.
Kurt has an immense amount of experience and could see signs I couldn’t, and provided the tools and training that I could reinforce at home. The immediate supervised socialization with the pack at the dog park was priceless and so necessary for my pup. If you find yourself in a similar situation, I definitely recommend Canine Conservatory even if it’s for a few sessions, you will walk away with tools to build with.

Kurt from Canine Conservatoty spent several hours a day for over a week with our puppy. He patiently and firm trained and untrained many tricks. Not only did he teach our puppy so much, but he taught us much more. We are using Kurt’s consistent, daily coaching techniques to build behaviors we want.

Kurt is a great trainer who really conveys his love for dogs and positive training through our sessions. Kurt does a lot of research and is extremely well educated on dogs and it shows. My dog absolutely loves going to Canine Conservatory as he has fostered a wonderful bond with Kurt. Kurt’s own dogs are so well trained and they have helped my dog in his training as well.

Kurt is wonderful and my dog loves him. In just a couple of weeks, he showed remarkable improvement understanding and listening to commands. Even more importantly, I am being given the tools to continue his training outside of our lessons, and my relationship with my dog has only grown stronger. Kurt loves dogs and loves guiding humans to be responsible and respectful dog owners. He wants you and your dog to have the skills to make your dog your BFF. Kurt worked with us with our troublesome puppy and now that she is grown, she is a quirky delight. He boards her when we go out of town and we still schedule an occasional finishing school” session when our pup regresses. I have recommended Kurt and Canine Conservatory to many people for their training and boarding needs.

For over a year now, Kurt and his crew have been taking my dog, Lu to the park. The highlight of Lu’s day is when they come to pick him up. He loves being with them and has a wonderful time with Kurt’s pack.
Kurt has the sweetest and most well behaved group of dogs. I’ve never seen anyone as good with dogs as Kurt. He’s also an amazing trainer. Kurt has assembled the friendliest, most responsible, caring and thoughtful group of people to help pick up and take careful watch of the dogs at the park.
I’m incredibly thankful to know Lu is so well taken care of.
