Mikayla has exceeded all expectations of our training for two of our "foster fails". She is very passionate about all dogs and works with whatever abilities they have from previous training or lack thereof. Mikayla is incredibly responsive and will be transparent about the steps towards your goals. We are so happy that her services were recommended and can't speak highly enough about her. Our dogs have improved leaps and bounds both together and individually.

Mikayla is a phenomenal canine coach! She spends endless time and effort training up pups. She personalizes her training and actively involves the pet parent. She has trained my five german shepherds and my house is now peaceful. I highly recommend and would give her 20 stars if I could.

Cannot recommend Mikayla enough! Whether it is for boarding or training or both. She is hands down an incredible trainer but also treats every single dog she has in her possession the exact way she treats her own. We were referred to Canine Coach Academy through a neighbor after a few weeks of searching for a good trainer. Mikayla has been INCREDIBLE. We love our dog so much and genuinely feel like she is our child, so proper training by a professional was a non-negotiable.

We started with the two week personal training program while on vacation, and came back to a completely new dog who was well behaved and loving life.

Our 6 (now 8) month old mini bernedoodle learned so many valuable commands that have made our lives so much easier. After training she has completely stopped nipping/biting/jumping, she is great on the leash with her “heel” command, and at home in her “place” command. Our pup also is great around other dogs now. She behaves at the dog park while still having a blast.

Mikayla also very much values continued training, and will teach YOU how to continue the training at home.

Mikayla has made our dog obedient while still maintaining her spirit and personality. I can’t imagine what life would be like if we didn’t do this.

We still board our dog with Mikayla when we travel, and will continue to do so to reinforce training. Also, our dog loves it. She starts wagging her tail when we pull down Mikayla’s street because she knows she is about to see all of her friends!

Couldn’t recommend Canine Coach Academy enough.

Mikayla has been amazing to work with! We recently adopted a 3 year old lab/pit mix with zero training and not much of a known history. Mikayla helped to lay a great foundation for us and her as well as giving us the confidence we needed to take this new step! We have been so impressed at her knowledge and skills and will continue to go back to her for years to come!

Mikayla was eager to help and built the skills for not only our dog, but also for us to be exactly what our dog needed for a happy life. Worth every penny and could never go back to raising dogs without professional training. 10/10! I came to CCA with my dog Ellie, age 6, a Belgium Malinois German Shepherd mix. Mikayla assessed our needs thoughtfully and structured our training to pinpoint my needs. I am so pleased with how Ellie has improved. It was just what we needed. I was worried Ellie was too old to learn some additional manners but she did. Yeah! Highly recommend.
