Zuki has been such an amazing trainer!! I got my bull terrier a year ago and had no idea where to start with training but I knew I wanted positive reinforcement. She taught me exactly how to incorporate training into our daily routine and she gave us a ton of games and activities we can do. She also pet sat for me and I came home to a super happy dog and a freezer full of dog treats and toys. Zuki goes above and beyond to make sure you’re happy with the training tips and services she’s providing! Shes the absolute best to work with!

Zuki has ditched the box of traditional dog training and really focused on what the dog needs. She's not afraid to tell you if something isn't right for your pup, but is always tactful and friendly. I really love the adventure walk, you can be creative and get your dog out for a great time without changing your busy schedule. Lastly, her rates are much lower than any I've seen around!

Working with Zuki completely changed our lives! We adopted an adult Aussie named Koda last year. He was reactive to everything. Squirrels, people, dogs, cats, bicycles, cars - you name it, he barked at or chased it. He also nipped at anyone who wasn't myself or my husband, and was scared to go inside any building that wasn't our home. It was all very stressful.

I tried to do behavior modification training myself. I'd done his basic obedience, after all. But after 2 months with no progress, I called Zuki and she set us up with a personalized training plan. We started seeing a difference in Koda that very first week and today he is a completely different dog. So much more confident, Koda can now go to the vet unmuzzled and can go days straight without him barking at anything on walks. He's noticeably more engaged with us, even without treats.

We also did board and train with Zuki when we were out of town. She was wonderful about the whole experience, allowing us to visit before to make sure Koda would be comfortable going inside, updating us the first couple days since she knew we were nervous about leaving Koda behind, and being flexible about pick up/dropoff. Koda was obviously very happy staying with Zuki! She will be our go to for future boarding.

Zukie took care if my dogs for many years when I was out of town (I live far away now). One of my dogs, Diego, had special needs and needed regular medication despite that he was petrified of being forced to take them.

Zukie took incredible care of him and he clearly trusted her to give him his meds because she was so good at it.
Also, my little dog became much better behaved since she is consistent with her commands (which I am not), so that was lovely!

When I was out of town, I got thorough updates on the dogs, including any changes in mood or stool (when you have an older dog, especially, these are really important indicators if something is wrong.)

I definitely recommend Zukie to anyone looking for an experienced dog walker, sitter, or trainer.

Zuki has been such a great resource and guide throughout the past 6 months since we rescued our fur baby. Fay is my first rescue and I was not as prepared as I could have been for the struggles we were to face. Zuki's philosophy and training style is positive, loving, and has everyone's well being in mind. When we explained to her the behaviors our pup was expressing, she had a plan right away to approach the issues and had fun games and tools to help us and our new baby. Fay was high anxiety, dog, people, and leash reactive, and resource guarded our bed and me. Fay now walks on leash, heels beautifully, and for is able to redirect her focus when faced with distractions on walks and in the home. We now have the tools to redirect unwanted behavior and so many fun games to play with our ever-learning and growing rescue pup.
When Zuki was on her way to our training lessons, I would ask Fay if she was ready for her Zukification. I lovingly nicknamed her training that and it really is true, Fay has been Zukified and we are so happy with the results and passionate care Zuki has given us. Fay also has grown so much in her relationship with my partner that was once strained. Fay will now sit on their lap and let them pet her. This is was so important to their relationship as Fay is their ESA and was previously not offering much emotional support. We are still working of course and this journey is not at it's end, but we are getting closer to our goals every day, thanks to Zuki and Can-Do Canine!

Our dog Scooby loves Zuki (and so do we!). We’ve done training and dog walking and have seen a lot of improvement in a short time. Zuki is gentle but confident so I always feel comfortable that my dog is in good hands when she’s with her.
