They have a loss prevention system to help you get your $2 safely to the cash register to get it paid for but I have to ask, is it worth it? It's almost like they don't want you to shop or look at things. What is the point of the grate anyway when most of your items fit through the grate?

Anyway, the system works. I got my bobber without issue.

If you are able to hunt them down, staff are nice, friendly, and helpful. But do I ever want to come back? Not really

Today, October 29, 2024, close to 1:00 pm.
Tried to buy a belt ($6.99). When paying, We were told that it had the wrong price. It wasn't just one on the rack. There was a bunch. Cashier's excuse, oh someone, put it in the wrong spot.
The manager came to void the price charged since we were not going to buy it at $34.99
We tried to let him know there were lots of the same there. He totally ignored us.
Rudely walked away.
It is the light brown belt in the picture. Worse customer service.

What a nightmare getting a new set of tires. Purchased the tires, went to instal and got ring size installed. Technician didn't notice the tires were touching inside of wheel well. Had to take them off and reinstall thr old ones and get refunded bc didn't have right size. Been back 2x now to get old tires to stop leaking and not to mention the did a number on the rims. Gave up and went somewhere else to get tires replaced. Stay away.

Purchased winter tires from Highway 7 Woodbridge location and had them mounted on my alloy rims. Specifically asked them to be careful and not damage the rims. What a mistake! All 4 rims were damaged. Thay scratched them right to the bare metal. Not sure if its a training issue or an IDGAF attitude. When I brought it to their attention they offered no response. Stay away.

1/5 Stars - Extremely Poor Customer Service

I'm extremely disappointed with my recent experience at the Canadian Tire in Woodbridge. I visited the Maple location earlier and was told that the item I was looking for was sold out. However, when I called the Woodbridge location, they informed me that they had plenty in stock.

When I arrived at the Woodbridge store, I was shocked by the complete lack of customer service. Despite having plenty of staff on hand, no one bothered to approach me or offer assistance. I was left to wander the aisles on my own, unable to find anyone to help me locate the item I needed.

The sheer indifference of the staff was appalling. It's clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority at this location. I would strongly advise against visiting this store unless you enjoy being ignored.

Very poor experience. Will not be returning.

Very big store but so clean and organized. All aisles are wheelchair accessible and has a wheelchair accessible entrance with ample parking. All items are labeled adequately and there are price check points everywhere. Very easy and comfortable shopping experience at this location. Not busy at all too. Highly recommended.

Prepare yourself to be asked to leave your bag in a locker because of "loss prevention".
The second I stepped into the store I was approached by a man telling me to follow him to the lockers to leave my bag there.
It's completely understandable that you face shoplifters often and have to do something about it, but treating EVERYONE like potential shoplifters is a really really bad strategy.

The moment I was asked to leave my bag in a locker I decided that I would only browse and not buy anything, because it's not even a request that you can deny and it made me very uncomfortable.

On a side note, this store's selection is very poor and the displays are so bad there are items you can't even see properly! Like the chairs section...
As soon as you enter the store there are many empty shelves, and while looking around you will encounter many many more empty shelves and displays while there are some items that are not even being displayed, like the dish drying racks.
I came here specifically to buy a dish drying rack but there's no way of looking at it without taking it out of the box.

Do better, Canadian Tire.
