Camelot is a very typical touchless spray wash facility. Four or five years ago when it first opened , the washes were better, but prices have gone up and the quality of the wash, number of passes and overall cleaning quality is now fair. Photos are after a king wash done after coming down from a quick weekend trip to Breckenridge where my car got some typical winter wet road spray. The management is generally reasonable, but I just don’t have time to go back for re-washes.

Quality not there anymore. "Upgraded" the touch less equipment a little while back but doesn't actually get the vehicle clean. Not to mention the water jets continue to spray water all over your vehicle while it's drying leaving hard water spots on the paint, windows, and side mirrors. Can literally take your finger and run it along the paint or wheels and it will be completely covered in soot right after the wash.

When I want to give my car the BEST wash I can, I drive all the way from south Lakewood to Camelot. Camelot Car and Dog Wash in Golden, that is. The bays are clean, the equipment all works, the soap is plentiful, the wash and rinse water is HOT, and the spot free rinse actually works. Camelot even has a nice self-service dog wash for Tucker, and a place to plug in our EV! It does take a lot to maintain a car wash making sure everything is 100%, and Camelot seriously does it better than any other wash in town. It is for these reasons why I drive so far to get here. Stop wasting your money at the larger known car washes all over town with messy bays, lower water temps, lame water pressure and hit-and-miss soap dispensing. Treat yourself and your car to Camelot and leave feeling great like I do! A special message to the owners/operators: While I cannot seem to find a way to thank you personally for making this wash available to us, I hope you see this message and know that we appreciate all you do. We took our 70 pound dog to the dog wash. The dog wash was in a private room, and was very clean. We had no trouble figuring it out and were in and out quickly. It was a great price and easy way to bathe our pup.

We took our 2 dogs there. $10 for 10 minutes which seems like a short time but it really wasn't. There was a short wait but it went quickly. When we left, there were another 2 dogs waiting. Bring a towel or dry at home. The dryer (unless you want extra time) will only do so much for doodles IMO. Great first experience.

The car wash has gotten worse under current ownership. My wash today left the truck with significant amount of soap on the body and windows and the vacuum is no longer included with the King wash. $19 for a subpar wash with an ask for more money to use the vacuums.

This car wash is exactly what you want to find when you’re looking for a local wash. They keep it well lit at night, the bays always have the correct fluid in them, the grounds are kept nice and clean, the vacuums have plenty of power, it’s perfect.

You can tell when an owner cares about his business, especially a car wash. We wash our vehicles almost daily here and don’t plan on using anywhere else. Thank you to the owner for making our job easier by providing us a safe, clean efficient environment to clean our vehicles.

My 2019 Ram Promaster fit in the bays perfectly. As we pulled up the owner was outside greeting people and helping out on the ins and outs. Very nice guy. I washed the van while the girl friend washed the dog. A car wash dog wash is the sickest combo married together. And the location being close to the tony grampas park, PERFECT. The actual wash itself was great. Super high pressure, all the tools and controls were working properly. Probably the best car wash I have ever been to.
