Very friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere. The coffee was delicious, we tried the spiced chai ($7 for a large). We also got some bread pudding, which was also delicious but we wished it had some raisins inside (no nut though!). We then grabbed some items from the day-old pile and they were all 50% off and delicious! The scones just needed to be microwaved for 30 seconds to become soft and delicious, the chocolate chips one was my favorite! Even the pumpkin bread with chocolate chips was delicious! Definitely coming back when in the area!

The food is great and I usually love the coffee. They are not always consistent in how they make their drinks, which is the reason I have to give it four stars. I still go there all the time, though, and the service is absolutely amazing. Thank you guys for the great coffee!!!

Great, relaxing place for lunch or to relax. We decided to get a bite to eat before heading up to the pass and was very good. Liked the staff, the atmosphere, the pastries and food, and the great smoothies and drinks! Get their berry shake and their Turkey Sandwich with Swiss, both were fresh and excellent. It’s worth a bite to eat here!

Driving from Folsom, NM to Glenwood Springs, CO, we came through Buena Vista and immediately saw the golden aura of a coffee roasting facility and attendant cafe next to the highway as we entered town. It was every long-distance driver's Hallelujah and made our day, and drive.

The food, the multitude of baked goods, the coffee (oh, the coffee!), the peaceful, good-hearted employees, the crazy cool narrow interior with cramped tables....it's a caffeine, pastry, sandwich nirvana along the road. Selah.

Early morning coffee run. The people were upbeat and kind. Great atmosphere, great coffee. Second time seeing Melissa and she was great. Someone you probably don't want to lose. I've lived here for 10 years now. Brown dog has always been a go to.

This is an awesome coffee shop!!!! They have really good White Mochas and Raspberry muffins. Everyone is very nice there to!!!! Definitely recommend!

So many pastries that all look so good, it's impossible to choose. Everything I had tasted great and the Salty Dog Latte is a must. Honestly, this review is to complement the service; even when they are busy or just opened the doors they greet you kindly and get your order quickly. Just kind, warm, people. I had to visit twice in my three days staying nearby.
My only complaint is that the portion size of the quiche is TINY. Maybe not the best value there if you are looking for food as well. However their breakfast burritos are tasty and seem a good value. Highly recommend this place!
