I can't say enough about Brandon McMillan and his training. The time, dedication and care he and his staff took to help build the confidence of my adopted dog Max was more than I could have hoped for. I feel blessed to have come upon Canine Minded. Brandon truly understands the nature of dogs and is so committed to doing what's best for each one. What a difference between the dog I took to them and the one picked up. Brandon McMillan and his team have done it again. What a difference between my new rescue dog Coco from when I took her in for training and the foundation they have set with her behavior. I'm in awe again as to how much talent the team at Canine Minded have and the time and care they take with each of the dogs they train. Thank you for all you do!

We took our dog, Zeddy, to Work with Brandon. Zeddy had training from another trainer, but we did not work with Zeddy enough to ingrain that training. Brandon’s 2 week program was much better since it gave enough time for his lessons to become habitual. Also, he was able to spend time with other dogs and become properly socialized around them. If you are able to, we recommend sending your dog to Brandon’s ranch!

We recently enrolled our 6 month Olde English Bulldogge, Louis (pr: Loo-ee), in what I fondly call "Good Boy Camp" at Brandon's Canine Minded dog training school, and I can't praise them enough! The 2 week program was nothing short of phenomenal. What stood out most was the personalized approach; Brandon took time to understand Louis's unique challenges, which made a world of difference.

The team not only covered the basics with the "7 commands" but also tailored their training to suit Louis's specific needs. The transformation in his behavior is remarkable. He's the same loving pup but with much-improved manners - a true "good boy" post-camp!

The support didn't end with the training. Brandon and his team have been exceptional in their post-camp follow-ups, offering advice and ensuring Louis's continued progress.

Moreover, Louis's behavior at a recent 30-person holiday party was the talk of the evening. He was calm and gentle, even with an 18-month-old toddler who was putting his hands in Louis' mouth and pulling his tail.

I wholeheartedly recommend Brandon McMillan's school to anyone considering dog training. And if you haven't thought about it, you really should. Their approach, expertise, and post-training support make them a standout choice!

We have taken both our golden doodles to Brandon's for training and have referred so many friends. His trainer, Faith, is also so amazing. They sent photo and video updates the entire time our pups were away. The training was top notch, our dogs are constantly complimented when we take them to cafes or in public how well behaved they are. So happy we made the drive up to LA for Brandon's ranch.

I wish I could give 10 stars. We are in LA but moved to NYC for a stretch, and our sweet puppy suddenly became reactive and wasn't interested in recall! So grateful that Brandon was our puppy trainer and when we returned to LA for a few weeks, completely exasperated by our sassy adolescent, we brought her in for a tune up. Brandon and his team (shout out to Faith and Christina!) were GAME CHANGERS. I couldn't believe it when we went to the park today, and my pup was walking by my side off leash and came back to me, even in the midst of playing with other dogs! That NEVER would have happened a few weeks ago. Their experience, patience, and commitment to the canine world has brought us a whole new perspective and a miraculous solution when we thought we had hit a dead end. I cannot recommend them enough! They are such good people, and even better trainers!

Taking my 2 golden doodles to Brandon and his team for training and boarding has been the best choice Ive made for my pups. They listen to all their commands, are perfectly potty trained and being on the ranch is like being home for them. They love being with the other dogs that are training/boarding and they always come home better behaved than when I dropped them off. What else could I ask for. Don't hesitate to call Brandon and work with anyone of his team members. They are all wonderful and I feel very fortunate that Charli and Mischa have had the best training around.

In the span of 2 weeks, Brandon was able to train my terrier to not only listen to all the necessary obedience commands but also helped him to get past several phobias/triggers he has had since he was a puppy. Brandon warned me at the begging that terriers are stubborn, but, Brandon put in the time to get my dog to be comfortable with items and in situations that had previously sent him into fits of barking. Can't recommend Brandon enough!
