Our dog stayed for boot camp training and was well taken care of and has learned many things! Atom was great to work with. He is professional and friendly and it was just amazing watching him work with my dog Kool-Aid. Atom listened and addressed my concerns with Kool-Aid and worked with my schedule. As a result I have a more obedient, social, and confident dog. Atom also taught me skills to continue Kool-Aid's growth at home. If you want to invest in your furbaby be picky and choose Atom you will be glad you did.

Atom is... yeah I'm gonna say it... DA Bomb!! Our Mac (5 year old German Shepard) could identify as the poster pup for the breed, but put him on a leash and let him even smell another dog and he absolutely loses his mind. I mean he became a completely different dog.
We searched at least a dozen trainers. Some wouldn't call back, some wouldn't work with aggressive breeds, some soar to think taking your dog for a walk is training. Then one day we were going to Home Depot and saw a guy out "working" with a couple of pit bulls. Ok, now I have to stop and talk to him. Turns out to be Atom, owner of Blissful K9. He was actually out "working" with numerous dogs. We spoke for a bit, got a business card and went about our way. We didn't call immediately as we were still considering calling others. Throughout the next week we saw Atom and a dog or numerous dogs inside of Home Depot as well as walking them up and down Broad Street. After seeing how"into" these dogs Atom is that we recognized the passion he has for dogs and finally called and scheduled our sessions. After 8 sessions we have a whole new dog when it comes to walking on a leash. I truly think we could have stopped going after the 3rd session as Atom seems to have a way to just understand what's going on in our Mac's mind and then show Mac, non-aggressively, how to correct those unwanted behaviors. If you need help with your pup, whether aggression or just simple basic training you need to at least give Atom at Blissful K9 a call.

Atom was wonderfully working with our dog, Cash! Cash is a very high energy 1 year old puppy, and Atom helped him work on impulse control and leash skills at home and in public settings. We completed four training sessions and are already noticing that Cash has calmer behavior at home and better leash manners. He still has a long way to go, but we will continue working on the skills and “homework” from Atom as Cash grows up. Atom was very knowledgeable and able to answer all of our questions. We cannot recommend Blissful K9 enough!

Our pups learned so much in 4 weeks with him. No longer tugging at the leash, they are so happy to follow at heel. Atom must be as gentle and patient as he comes across, the dogs are still high spirited, just better behaved.

We recently sent our Boykin Spaniel, Osa, to Blissful K9 for a two-week boarding and training “Boot Camp” to address some impulsive behaviors, and we couldn’t be happier with the results! From the moment we arrived, Atom, the trainer, formed a wonderful bond with Osa. She immediately responded to his guidance, and it was heartwarming to see her progress unfold.

The training videos and pictures Atom shared with us and on Facebook gave us great peace of mind and allowed us to witness her development in real-time. We couldn’t believe our eyes when we she was at Home Depot and actually behaving on only her second day of camp.

In just two weeks, Osa has transformed! She now exits her kennel calmly, responds to “leave it,” and her basic obedience has significantly improved. We’ve received countless compliments on how well-behaved she is now, especially with our new baby around.

The facilities at Blissful K9 are immaculate, with spacious, clean kennels and expansive play yards that made us feel comfortable leaving her there.

We can't thank Atom enough for his expertise and care. Osa is happier and more well-adjusted, and we wholeheartedly recommend Blissful K9 to anyone looking for exceptional dog training and boarding. Our little girl is thriving, and we are so grateful!

Atom at blissful k9 did amazing work with our blood hound Maggie. Maggie went through the 4 week boot camp and has accomplished so much. Many people were skeptical that a blood hound would perform commands such as sit, wait, here and let it go. Maggie has accomplished all of these and more. She is still a puppy so we continue to work with her everyday but life has been so much better for her and us. The picture says it all. She is letting us know how proud she is of her accomplishments.
