I cannot say enough wonderful things about the amazing job Cynthia did with the training of my 10 month old golden retriever. Anyone who has had a golden that reaches the teenage/adolescent stage knows how difficult they can be to handle and train. I am a 70 yo woman and Oliver (my golden) at 10 months is 70 lbs ~ he’s a lot of dog for me! AND, goldens are very high energy, working dogs who are typically puppies until they reach age 2-3.
Oliver is a very sweet puppy and is eager to please, but at the same time there was a struggle with who was in charge while at home and when out and about on walks. He was acting out terribly; barking and growling at me, jumping up, tearing my clothes. While going after the leash he would grab and bite my hands. He never punctured my skin, but he was hurting me physically and emotionally. I realized that there was a serious problem that I hadn’t the skill set to cure. I needed professional help!!!!
Cynthia was highly recommended and I reached out to her immediately.
Within 3 days, Oliver was at Cynthia’s lovely home and property for 2 weeks of immersion training. He was NOT in a kennel, with dozens of dogs, being trained using a cookie cutter type of training. Oliver lived in Cynthia’s home with her family and her 3 dogs.
After 2 weeks time, I brought home a totally different dog. Oliver is no longer displaying any of his previous nasty behavior. He obeys all of my commands; “sit, stay, place, come, emergency come and pass”. I’m able to take Oliver most everywhere I go ~ it’s such a joy. We dine out, visit coffee shops and he loves to shop in our little town. I take Oliver to the beach and he stays close to me while off leash. Should he stray, Cynthia has trained both of us as to how to recall him.
Oliver is by no means at college level with his training, but he is a changed dog that is a pleasure to be around. We have a harmonious home life and he is the puppy that I dreamed of.
Cynthia worked nothing short of a miracle with my pup.
I will end with this story … I asked Cynthia to come to our home to do some “meet and greet” training with our local neighborhood dogs. She came, we trained and it went beautifully. When Cynthia left our house; Oliver stood at our front gate and cried and cried and whined for Cynthia. He adores her and did not want her to leave. I was a bit crushed, but know that if I want (and I do) to take Oliver back for tricks training or therapy dog training that he will be in the care of someone that he loves and wants to be with.
I am happy to talk with anyone who is considering Cynthia’s BINGO training. Cynthia has my permission to put us in touch.
She’s amazing and I highly recommend her!

Cynthia is a competent and amazing dog trainer; thoughtful, knowledgable with an important quality for me; she is light-hearted but purposeful with her training techniques. Tara, our Standard Poodle pup was about 4 months old when we took her to boarding school. We took her again at 6 months to help all of us settle into consistent training. My husband and I are 'vintage' dog owners. Tara is our third Standard pup and we were very clear this time around that we needed expert help with this puppy, who has a VERY big spark, as Cynthia told us:)
We highly recommend Bingo Dog Training. You and your dog will benefit in more ways that I can share in this testimonial.

Woof! Peg, Matt & Tara (now, 8 mo. old.)

Super successful 5-mile walk today along dog-filled West Cliff Drive with my now-formerly "reactive" dog, Meg. Cynthia worked with us to discover just what Meg (and I) needed to be able to enjoy reactive-free outings. I could not be happier or recommend Cynthia more.

I have had great experiences working with Cynthia at Bingo Dog Training. Her level 1 class was fun and moved at a good pace, and I was able to learn and try many different techniques with my dog. I also liked how she got to know each dog's personality and tried to work with that as well. My dog was overexcited around other dogs and had a hard time focusing, and she helped me find a way to make the class work for him. I also hired Cynthia for one-on-one training, to help us with some serious behaviors around the house (biting, aggressive herding etc.) when we first adopted our dog. Her advice and guidance were invaluable, and by doing what she taught us, we were able to resolve the situation. My dog has also boarded with Cynthia a few times and she has taken excellent care of him. He loves visiting her property. Her yard is all set up for dogs and she also takes them on fun adventures. We call it doggy summer camp. I have recommended Bingo Dog Training to many friends, and will continue to do so!

Cynthia really helped me with my young border terrier Bowie. He was very active ,stubborn and not responding to my training techniques.
I took a few private lessons with her and saw how Bowie reacted to her. He responded to her training skills in a very positive way. I then sent Bowie to stay with her for 2 weeks board and train.
He is now more relaxed and listens to my commands. Cynthia taught me as well as him how to live together in harmony.
I am doing follow up sessions with her to keep things going smoothly.
I highly recommend her as a positive dog trainer.

Cynthia at Bingo Dog Training is wonderful. She has taught me so much about working with my dogs. My puppy has attended boarding school and learned so much in a week! Thanks to Cynthia's training and support, he is moving quickly through obedience training and is ready for the Canine Good Citizen Test! He's on his way to becoming a terrific therapy dog.

Cynthia was fantastic with our dog Sasha. We got Sasha from a shelter and she was a couple years old. Very sweet dog but with highly reactive, difficult behaviors. It turned out we were way over our heads. Sasha was barking all the time around our house, even when we put her in a kennel. On walks, she pulled constantly and when she saw another dog she became crazed, barking and pulling to the point where we couldn't control her. Our 6-year old son loved Sasha but we felt we were going to have to find her a new home.

Fortunately we decided to try Bingo Dog Training's boarding school with Cynthia. Over the course of ten days, Cynthia taught Sasha how to be quiet on command, ignore other dogs on walks, and do many other basic commands (including playing fetch). Her program was very customized to our needs and very effective. We now have a dog that's relaxed and quiet around the house, listens to us when we tell her to be quiet, and able to go on walks without a hassle or outburst. All of this has made a huge difference and given Sasha a solid foundation. We are relieved and grateful for Cynthia's help and expertise.
