Great Organization! Not only the adoption process was efficient, it was a pleasure! The staff and foster parent were more than helpful. They walk me through the process and took their time to tell me all about the puppy. Very happy and please with our new addition to our family. She is a wonderful little girl and smart as a whip!! Absolutely incredibly dog rescue organization. I cannot say enough good things about the level of care, commitment and love they show for these rescues. They are also extremely helpful in assisting with literally anything you need with your new pup. We took advantage of the FREE training class and that was a fantastic experience. They nursed our rescue back to life and she’s thriving and happy now. Thank you so much Big Paws! You are doing amazing work.

After losing our sweet senior dachshund a couple of years ago, we knew we wanted our next dog to be two things: 1) a rescue and 2) BIG. We found our perfect match with Big Paws of the Ozarks. We love our Otto so very much and Big Paws made the adoption process a breeze. "Get a Dachshund puppy", they said, "it'll be fun they said", and in all honesty it has been great but, not doing our research on how independent and stubborn they become was our main reason for contacting Big Paws of the Ozarks for board and training. This was the most incredible program and our Jasper is completely transformed. I can't thank Courtney and Big Paws enough for the amazing transformation in only 2 weeks. We now have the dog we always wanted with regard to doing what we ask of him. We brought our best girl, Nova, to Big Paws and left her in Marshall’s care for two weeks. The final results have been incredible. Not only is our dog more confident and obedient, but Marshall coached us on how to continue the needed reinforcement. We’re now more confident in her. She adored Marshall! It was hard to be away from her for two weeks, but the next 10 years are going to be amazing!

I came to Big Paws of the Ozarks at the recommendation of some friends, and I’m glad I did! Marshall did an excellent job with board & train for my reactive dog. She is a lot calmer and seems happier having expectations and knowing what to do. Was truly afraid she’d be so bad for him that he’d call me to come and get her, but he had her out in public at The Home Depot the second or third day of training! I absolutely loved that he sent photos and updates almost every day, and I seriously questioned if he had replaced my dog because of what I was seeing her do! I’m super pleased that not only did he do a great job with my Pepper, but that they find dogs such as her, typically unadoptable, and train them to be adoptable instead of them remaining in shelters and ultimately being euthanized. We will forever be grateful to Shannon at Big Paws for boarding and training our two and half year old 75 pound Catahoula mix. The results have been life changing for all of us!! Before the board and train I was having a really difficult time walking her and taking her places because she consistently pulled and couldn’t be trusted off leash because she would take off running. My daughter was having a hard time interacting with her because at times our dog’s excitement coupled with not giving my daughter space could be overwhelming. Now our dog is so well mannered around my daughter and others, listens and follows commands well, walks without pulling, and is even able to safely walk off leash! We are able to enjoy her more and she is able to go more places safely with us and enjoy life more. It has been an amazing experience. Shannon sent daily pictures and videos of training sessions, spent nearly two hours with us at pick up going over everything, and offered free follow ups if needed. Absolutely worth the money! Our dog was loved, well trained, and well taken care of with Shannon. Highly recommend!! Thank you!!
