I have tried all the stores around Crawford. They each have some of what I need to work on my house. Big Johns has had almost everything I needed. For my chainsaws they also started them up before I left and also made sure I could start them on my own before I left!

My local go-to. My wife and I bought a fixer-upper in town and Mike, Ron and the rest of the crew have been super helpful in getting us the parts and knowledge we need to start fixing things. The prices are fair and they constantly have specials and deals. I wish they had expanded hours during the weekends but it works out. Thank you Big Johns!

Lumber is expensive compared to Lowes and Home Depot, what one would expect in a small town lumber yard. Ace means Ace Hardware and there is a lot of stuff to be had from paint to tools to plumbing to some auto and RV items. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Big Johns also rents equipment. Most items I need in a hurry to complete a project can be found there.

I bought a thousand pound wood stove from the New England and with permission from Big Johns manager had it shipped to Big Johns. Without any kind of extra charge Big Johns' crew got it loaded on my trailer. That moves my rating from a 4 to a 5.

Rude staff following my partner and I around and making us feel uncomfortable. We were just shopping and they made us feel like we were doing something wrong. We kept being hounded by the blond lady working there. We won't be back. We'll go to delta for our business. We live so close it's a shame. But we rather make the drive to delta then feel like we can't shop comfortably. Maybe hire staff that doesn't profile your customers. 0 stars.

I'm sorry. But everytime I go in this store I feel extremely unwelcome. I'm am asked if I need help most of the time but it's in this weird aggressive manner like the employees are being closely monitored for compliance. Everyone just seems on edge and it's very uncomfortable!

I also need to say I've been a local for going on 10 years now. Not as if I'm just some weirdo passing through town. Sorry guys you could do better..

The staff is friendly and most helpful. If they dont have what you need exactly , sometime a solution can be found by being creative. They have given me references for things they dont provide. THIS IS NOT A BIG BOX type store Thankfully!!! Customer service is great from counter staff, to the folks in the yard helping to load those bulky items. Thanks for being there.
