This is a great boarding facility. The owners have decades of experience and know what they are doing.
Dogs have access to indoor and outdoor areas, are cleaned multiple times a day, and are monitored closely. I never worry about my dogs well-being, and they like being there.

We sold our home, but our new house was not ready. We boarded our precious and adored fur baby for 3 weeks.... I highly recommend! When I called for updates, they were so kind, and gave me detailed reports about his health and happiness! I will for sure use again for vacations. 🙂

We've been using big basin to kennel our dogs since 2016. The kennels are clean and roomy, and the owners take care of our dogs as if they were their own. There might be cheaper places in town, but I prefer to sleep well while I'm away from home, knowing that my dogs are in good hands at big basin!

Met with Gary for a puppy training session and he not only helped train basic obedience but spent time sharing his knowledge so I could be successful after I left. Its been one year and the foundation he helped lay has resulted in my dog being obedient off leash in all environments.

I boarded my dogs for about 2 weeks here and i'm very happy with the service. peggy real nice and so we all the other people who i talked to. they are very experienced with dogs, peggy has done competition's and she's a great dog trainer. my dogs were well taken care of, they got walks and loves, ands they were happy when i picked them up. i would 100% use this place again to board, and maybe even training in the future! the price was very fair, we paid about 850 for the entire time for two dogs plus walks and play time. i honestly don't think you'll find a place better than this!

I both trained and board my dog here. Peggy helps the owner understand the best way to train based on breed and gender. No complaints about boarding, apparently they all have their own dog run. One time my dog had a sore toe when I brought her in and they kindly kept an eye on it for me while I was gone.

Went to take my pom to get some training. The first day was 10 minutes of training. My dog has never really barked ever and now he doesn't stop barking. The other 2 hours were spent on the trainer talking about my fiance's car. Overall he basically told us he didn't want to train our puppy! Zero stars!!! $75 for NOTHING!!!!

I talked to Gary years ago about a German Shepherd I rescued from the animal shelter.
He was very polite but to the point. Everything he told me was correct. He is not warm and fuzzy...but believe me ...he does know the business. AND he was not ever rude to me.I was not buying anything and he took time to advise me.
