Nice place to take dog for self dog wash. Can use cash or card at machine. $15 for 15 mins, this was well worth it to me to not have to bathe dog in home bathtub! We have a large, double coated dog (Bernese Mountain Dog) this was much easier to complete his bath using the elevated tub. Machine was easy & simple to use. We will be back for future baths!

I boarded my dog with Bayview and they took such good care of him. They held and cuddled him in the beginning to ease his fears and they took very good care of him. I highly recommend them. They are dog lovers.

Super easy! Directions are on the machines for self wash, employees offered to help too. Haven't had my Chi groomed there yet because I just discovered them but will definitely use the self wash again! So nice to not have to bend down! If your dog also hates the dryer bring your own towel $15 for 15 minutes

Love the self dog wash! It's like a car wash for your dog - very easy to use. My Great Dane actually fit very comfortably in the large dog tub, and the nonskid bottom kept her feeling secure. Even though she's an older girl and not very spry anymore, she had no problem getting in and out.

The wash includes shampoo and rinse (of course) but also has a conditioner option and even flea treatment. There's both high and low options for the dryer, so if you have a skiddish dog, you can use the quieter option. Price was very fair and plenty of time on the clock. (We didn't even use the whole time, even on my big girl!)

Very nice option when you don't want to go all the way to Portland if your dog doesn't fit into the tub at home!

This groomer is really truly horrible, in oh-so-many ways.

The first thing I noticed when I dropped my dog off was the overwhelming filth. Although I couldn't smell any pee or poop, the whole front of the salon is coated with every other kind of dust, muck, and dirt. At this point, I "noped" my dog right outta there, but she was overdue for a grooming & we didn't want any further delays.

The next less-than-lovely thing about this salon was how long it took. Admittedly, our Shih-Tzu was overdue for a grooming, but even with removing mats, a wash followed by a doggie buzz cut should NOT have taken almost 7 hours. ESPECIALLY after scheduling the appointment so far in advance! (Our previous groomer groomed this same dog beautifully in well under 2 hours, no matter how overdue we were. And her facility was clean enough for a surgeon to operate in.)

The third unpleasant surprise was that despite my clear verbal and written instructions NOT to spritz our dog with perfume, she was an absolute scent bomb when I picked her up. This failure to follow a basic direction would be an annoyance to many people, but I am allergic to most scents, so their choice to ignore my request could have been dangerous. So, AFTER spending almost 7 hours at this filthy salon, I STILL ended up having to give my dog a bath if I wanted to be able to breathe today.

The fourth unpleasant surprise was the price. Our (sainted) former groomer charged us $40 per grooming before she moved out of the area 4 years ago. For that $40, our dog was impeccably groomed in under 2 hours in an ultra hygienic facility, and she didn't need a 2nd bath after grooming. Bay View charged us $105 to groom the same dog over the course of almost 7 hours in a facility I wouldn't allow a pet rat to live in. And they scent-bombed her to the point of me considering a trip to the ER as I write this. I 1,000,000% am okay with paying extra because it had been a while since our dog was groomed, but spending 2.5 times what we spent previously for a dramatically worse end result feels wrong.

At the end of the day, yes, our dog does look better. But I'll travel to Idaho for grooming before bringing her back to this salon.
