My pups started staying with Nancy and Bill at Barkington Inn 5 months ago with a last minute request. They treat them like their own and are always welcoming and accommodating to my schedule. Nancy and Bill are the best ever!!!! We moved a lot for work and my doggy has been at different boarding places but hands down Barkington Inn is the best place we have left Prego at during our trips. Nancy and Bill always treat Prego like family, they send us pictures all the time and they are always prompt to respond when we have questions. Their house is very safe for doggies and I can see why they have such a great rating in their reviews. Thanks Bill and Nancy. You’re the best!!!

Our 2 fur babies love going to Barkington Inn where they are treated as family. It’s their home away from home and Nancy and Bill are their 2nd mom and dad! We drop them off knowing they will have loads of fun and be cared for with love and kindness. We are so very grateful to be able to travel with piece of mind. Barkington Inn is a happy place for pups!

I’ve used them for my doggie overnights for 3 years. The pups have a great time and get so excited when we drive up to their house. I love that they are allowed to roam the house as if they were at their own house.

My wife and I are travel healthcare workers and landed in the Dallas area. With long work days, we were worried our 2 dogs would be bored senseless. Enter Nancy and Bill and Barkington Inn!! Nancy and Bill cared for our pups just like we do. They watched our pups daily and additionally on weekends when we explored Texas. We knew immediately the dogs were in good hands and had fun when we would pull up front and they raced to meet Nancy at the front door. Barkington inn is amazing!!! My fur baby Salem loves going! She runs straight to the door and doesn’t look back she get very excited when she sees we are there. Nancy and bill are so sweet and awesome. I get photos and videos of her when she’s with them!

I have been taking my girls to Bill and Nancy for 5 years now and they are the only reason I am able to leave my babies. My dogs love it there and I never worry and they treat them will love and like they are their own. Nancy sends me pictures and videos of the dogs and I cannot say enough good about them. I would not take my dogs anywhere else.

Highly recommend the Barkington Inn for boarding your canine companion(s). Our pup has been going there for several years, and Bill & Nancy always take great care of him. They keep the large and small dogs in separate areas so that they can all play freely and safely, and they have plenty of opportunity to get exercise and socialization while you're out of town. Much better (and more affordable) option than your run-of-the-mill boarding operations.
