Been using Bark Avenue since they were at the old location. Kris is a true gem, always remembers Mischief and Patton no matter how long its been. The other team members are also amazing and friendly. Our dogs get so excited when we pull into the parking lot. I appreciate the proactive transparency when there are price increases and trust they are focused on their strong staff.

This story should make you question the owner's ethics and integrity...

I have been boarding my dogs at Bark Ave. for about 5 years. They loved Bark Ave and the attendants that work there. The staff bathed my dogs, when requested.
The dog I have now was dropped off for boarding on 9/25 in good health and was picked up 9/30. Shortly after picking her up, she started to shake her head and rubbing her head on the floor. I looked her to find out what was going on and her eye was swollen shut. When I opened eye it was very red and it looked like it had been scratched or burned. I took her to the vet the same day, as soon as the vet could see her. He looked at it with some special light and saw that her cornea had a superficial injury. He asked me if she had a bath, I said yes. He stated that the soap from the bath could have caused the injury. I immediately, let Bark ave know what was going on.
They have refused to accept any responsibility for my dog's injury. Even though, dogs are usually bathed shortly before pickup.
I have always spoken very highly of Bark Ave. and even made recommendations. Not any more...

In reply to the owner’s response to this review provided below, clearly the staff is much more customer-oriented than you are. They at least agreed that mistakes can be made.

My baby has been coming since November 2020 when we moved to the area. Originally, yes it was cheap but smelled like death and my dog acted like he was going to die as they took him back -- yes he is a little dramatic. Since Shawn took over --- OMG! The smell improvement alone speaks wonders! But her team that she has built says so much more! Every staff member makes a point to know each dog parent and dog so when you walk in to pick up, they don't have to ask who you are here to pick up? My pup is "extra" and used to cry like a toddler when getting dropped off, the whole staff knew it. Kris and Tamika would make sure to distract him as I left and reassured me he was happy as soon as I was out of sight. Picking up with Cory, Camron and Lexie is a breeze and my pup doesn't want to leave. The staff is happy and extremely friendly -- they really seem to love being there and that is a great sign of leadership. Shawn has down wonders and it truly shows in the staff she has and the happy pups that come home each day!

I have taken my dog a few times to this place for groom/bath. Unfortunately this will be the last time I do. I left very specific instructions on what I wanted for a trim and the instructions were not exucted correctly. They did the opposite of what I specified and then charged an outrageous price. Very disappointed and will be looking for another groomer.

Great space to board or daycare. They don’t monitor phone though so once your dogs are in (or to get phone assistance) it can be a little complicated

I’ve been using Bark Avenue for the last year and love them! I use them for both daycare and boarding for both of my dogs. My boys are two rescue, both over 75lbs. The facility is clean and professional. The staff is friendly. And their online system is very easy to use and reserve services. My only complaint is that I wish they provided photos of my dogs while I board them. It would be nice to see that they are doing okay while I’m away. Maybe just one photo a day? My previous boarder did that and it was a sense of relief while I was away to know that they were okay. All in all, I highly recommend Bark Avenue!
