Had a great first visit with Dr. Tsutahara, unfortunately our second visit was very different. We were told to drop our dog off so they could collect a urine sample and run a urinalysis before the visit. They ended up running a ton of other tests that we were not consulted on beforehand. Our dog ended up being stuck there all day and we never even got to have our appointment with the doctor. Over an hour past our appointment time we were still waiting for the results from his urinalysis and then were finally sent on our way with a huge bill and multiple medications for what was supposed to be a simple visit to get an antibiotic for a UTI. After it became clear that the doctor had no intention of talking to us we asked if we could ask her a few questions about his treatment. We were still denied seeing her and told to read a generic handout instead. Absolutely no communication today from anyone at the office and that started with Dr. Lavacolla. We will be sure to never schedule an appointment with her again.

Dr Silverman and his team performed a flawless dental on our English Shepherd (farm collie). The documentation of her bloodwork, general physical, dental procedure including meds & sizing for the trach tube, were far more complete than from KP. A follow-up call this morning, 24 hours after the procedure demonstrated their dedication.

UPDATE: June 7, 2024-
Dr Tsutahara met with us. Our collie, Memo, has been experiencing gastric problems. As always, we come prepared with documentation. Dr Tsutahara read the documentation, asked questions and described the potential cause. We then discussed the optimum plan of action which we have followed. The doctor is very easy to speak with and she is very concerned that we understood everything. We highly recommend her based upon her knowledge and ability to communicate.

I've taken my animals into bandfield for 10 years now and have been to many many locations in a few different states and I have to say this is the best location yet!! Both receptionists I spoke with dropping off/picking up my cat were very sweet, caring & knowledgeable. The Vet who cared for my cat was very good at explaining what was going on in relatable terms to someone who isn't familiar with all the medical terms out there so I could understand and feel comfortable and confident with the treatment plan discussed and I verrry much appreciate that!! Thank you ladies of Yorba Linda Bandfield!! You all rock 🙂

Not at all like it used to be.
Said my pet was just breathing heavy because she was hot and to get her a cooling mat, said they could do xray but really didn't think she needed it so I trusted them. RIP. Ruby. And I been going for over 15 yrs. Dr. K was the best. And no Banfield no need for you to call me unless you really wanna know how I feel.

They are professionals and seem to show great compassion for the animals. I have the puppy coverage for the 1st year which covers office calls for a monthly fee but not for the immunization which are reasonable. This monthly fee also covers the neutering of my pet which they really push with emphasis on why it is needed.
I am just afraid my dog will lose his spunk and zest for living if I neuter him too soon. All the other male dogs in the neighborhood that have been neutered are over weight and sluggish so I am waiting until my dog is two years old.

We travel full time with our pet, so I like Banfield since they have so many locations across the country. I had a great experience at this one. Not a lot of pressure to buy more than I needed, the vet was sweet, and everyone else was really kind and took great care of my pup.
