I hate to give you guys a bad review because I’ve been coming to this vet for ten years. I’ll start by saying I love Deb. She’s been a really great vet. But I’ve now had three bad experiences with the employees there and it’s really disheartening and I’m ready sadly to switch vets. The first was when one of the employees hung up on me last year when I was in tears over my dog not being well and me not knowing what to do and being told they just couldn’t get me in that morning. My dog was panting and shaking and had me up with her all night. The second and third are now within a couple months of being given appointments and showing up early even and being told that they could no longer give me my appointments. The first time I was told I was put in a third spot so not a priority and the vet was leaving before they could see me. Today I was told employees left early so they could no longer do the laser service I needed for my dog who is in pain and the service takes 5 minutes. Super disappointing but after three times now of lack of service and caring and help when my dog is need it’s time to find a new more caring facility.

Our dog was sick while traveling from Ohio.
They scheduled us for a next day appointment which was great! Diagnosed a UTI and prescribed an antibiotic. Our dog was fine within 24 hours just like the doctor expected. THANK YOU AVON PET CENTER

I have had several great experiences here. I am able to get appointments in timely fashion and the dogs are well cared for during the visit. They are able to dispense medications that make my aging choc lab feel great and they helped me with a mild ear infection in my other fur baby.

We have been going to Avon Pet Center for 10 years now and can't say enough good things. The staff truly cares for the animals and everyone there consistently goes above and beyond. Even our shelter rescue who was terrified of going to the vet has come around with some gentle coaxing and lots of patience.

Everyone in this vet office has been nothing but wonderful with every pet I've brought. They were so wonderful through my 18 year old dog's final few years with so much kindness to him. I now bring my two new big dogs to them and the pups receive the same amount of love. Great vet services and amazing boarding services are hard to find in the valley, I wouldn't go anywhere else.

We were visiting Vail, Co when our almost 3 yr old golden started passing blood in her urine. Avon Pet Center was recommended to us. They were able to see us on an emergency basis with in 30 minutes of my call. This business is great! The staff was kind, friendly and professional and Dr Whitman was amazing with our dog. And on top of everything the expense, especially on an emergency basis, was very reasonable. I am so grateful for their care for our precious Golden Retriever. I highly recommend the Avon Pet Center!!!

If your animal has a complex heath issue like arthritus, cancer, broken bones, or cut-up from a crash, Dr McGrath is the best. In our case, it has not been easy watching our furry friend go through the trials of old age, but McGrath's team has been the best at easing that transition for all involved.

The best vet I’ve been too. After being rejected at 2 different local vets for an after hours emergency visit I called Avon Pet Center after they had already closed and they waited for me the get there as I was driving from Eagle. Dr.Whitman gave my dog the attention she needed with such patience and care. HIGHLY recommend this place for your furry friends.
