Tonight's experience:

1. One of three Automatic bays was out of service. This is typical in the winter. You can always expect at least 1 bay to be unavailable.
2. The device that scans the membership barcode was not working. It looks like the scanner is behind a double wall piece of glass/plexiglass. This is poor execution. Because that double wall is trapping moisture and won't read your membership QR code.
3. Once I finally made it into a bay, the undercarriage spraying feature malfunctioned. So I lost that part of my wash.

You never know what kind of experience you'll have when visiting an Autowash... but just know, it will be less than perfect because they already have your membership dues.

2/24/2025: Update to my review after the company responded:

I returned a few nights later to get my wifes car washed. The company in their response claims that lanes being out of service is typical for this industry. Tonight, 2/3 Automatic bays are out of service. It's a Monday evening at 8pm. There are 7 cars in line. This is ridiculous. This company will take your money but will take their time repairing/maintaining their equipment. I wonder how fast they would repair their car wash machines if people started to cancel their membership. I'll be canceling mine at the end of this billing period.

Good car wash, when it's working. I have a yearly membership to this car wash and something is always breaking down. I don't think there's ever been a time I've gone to wash one of my cars or fleet vehicles and all the bays were operational.

Used to be good but the dryers at the Colorado Blvd location in Highlands Ranch never work well anymore or sometimes not at all. I just had a wash and the dryer did not even descend close to my car leaving it totally drenched. This is very annoying when you are paying for a wash that includes the dryer. This has happened over the last many months and even though reported, nothing gets fixed and they offer you another wash. Wow, I can go back through and still have to dry my car manually.

In response to your reply, the dryer did not even descend down to my car. There was no drying but I am paying for it. I had to completely dry my car with only a small towel I used to dry missed areas that occur when the dryer is actually working. My previous post point is that your equipment does not work well most of the time and your staff is ineffective in addressing the issues.

I’ve had a membership with Autowash now for a couple of years, but starting to look into other options. Although the Province Center location has 3 autowash bays, they are rarely available or working properly. Customer service is available and responsive, but the quality of the wash and the maintenance of the equipment continues declining.

I used to go to this car wash regularly. Until they installed the new touch screens in each stall this place was amazing. Since the addition of the touch screen it has been a horror show trying to stitch from one mode to another and the time it takes to switch adds more time which equals more money being spent on time that I am not actually washing my vehicle

I had an issue at the Autowash@Province Center today. But the service technician, Ryan, turned it around completely. He was quick to identify the problem and showed a high level of professionalism and friendliness. Because of his excellent assistance, my experience ended on a positive note. I have been an Autowash customer for 3 years and the last year has been awful with Autowash. The bays at the Highlands Ranch location are always down and same for the Dove Valley location. The app works 50% of the time I’ve tried it with 3 different cell providers and on the Autowash WiFi. The price has gone up so much and the time has decreased. I am writing this because customer service has done nothing to help me. Someone open another touchless wash company made for enthusiasts!!!

It was cool to have an old school experience. With that said the place was a rip off in order to use the vacuum. You have to download an app and put your entire life story for the information just to be able to scan a QR code to spend a dollar to use a vacuum for about 47 seconds then it shuts off. This is after the fact that you’ve already spent about $15 to use the car wash and all of the accessories, which three of them were out of order by the way.
