this is a great locally owned betta shop if you’re looking for healthy bettas. the variety of betta in this small shop is amazing. there are several other fish species here too. my husband & i bought 8 bettas for 3 different tanks & all are healthy & thriving. sao is very helpful, welcoming, knowledgeable & accommodating. there’s also aquarium salt, fish food & some tank accessories available to purchase here.

My father and I keep fish. We went by this place to check out their stock.

The owner was very knowledgeable on his inventory! He also had a beautiful stock. If you want hard to find bettas and show fish definitely stop by here. When we stopped by he had Thailand aliens! And even giant bettas which I have not seen in fresno!

I just got a betta. I wanted to get it some tank friends. So my boyfriend and I went here to Aquatic Betta Shop. The gentleman that was working suggested that we get some guppies and a rainbow fish. So that's what I did. I purchased 4 guppies and a rainbow fish from his business. Got home, properly introduced the new fish to my betta. 2 days later, I noticed a red like string coming from the underside of the fish. Upon my research, the guppies were infected with Camallanus. I quarantined them from my betta so I can treat them with medication. Unfortunately, they passed away as well as the rainbow fish. I'm really bummed because they barely lasted 4 days. I included a picture of what the worms look like while attached to the fish. I couldn't return them because there was a sign that said no returns on fish. Now I know why.

The place it's not to good of a place that I'd say I recommend 100% but I would say if you can't find the beta you're looking for try there you might have some luck even though the fish are not well kept they're a bit mistreated and the prices are a little bit high for those fishes I say if nobody else has it try your luck there if you're willing to pay that extra price for not so good of a fish also they don't really have too much quality or quantity
