While going to school on LI, I needed a new vet for my animals and wanted one that was locally owned rather than choosing a corporate practice. I’ve taken a few of my cats here and have had exceptional service. I even got to meet one of their sweet lovely cats when I was there. The LaGinestra family has taken such good care of me and my pets and I can’t thank them enough ❤️ Great people and great care; what more can you ask for?

Wonderful experience here! I have visited twice with my exotic pets on an emergency basis (guinea pig and sugar glider). They were happy to assist in end of life care for both on separate occasions. Super compassionate, caring, vets and wonderful care. Highly recommend!!

Phenomenal care! From the two receptionists that are kind and caring, to the vet techs that seem to love their job and the pets, our new rescue pup with a complicated history is getting the best care. And there are no words to describe Dr. Jackie- a fierce advocate for her four-legged patients. She calls to check on our pup, consults for recommendations, and has just been a calming presence while figuring out an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan. Highly recommend!

My experience with Dr. Jackie at Animal Hospital of Roslyn made my anticipation of helping my best friend stress free. I was in search of a new vet as mine had moved and I found Dr. Jackie. She gave my dog a thorough exam, better than I ever had before and her patience and kindness were a complement to her expert knowledge of veterinary care. I would recommend Dr. Jackie as she is knowledgeable, kind, and listens to the needs of the family being treated.

I've visited this location multiple times, and unfortunately, the wait times have consistently been an issue. It’s frustrating to schedule an appointment and still experience significant delays. On one occasion, I came in for an emergency after being told over the phone to arrive immediately, only to wait an hour before being seen. This has been a recurring problem, and it’s disappointing. I hope the team can address their scheduling and time management practices to improve the patient experience.

The Animal Hospital of Roslyn has been such a blessing for me and my family. Dr. Vic and Dr. Jackie are so knowledgeable and compassionate. From the moment you enter you can be sure the professional and loving staff will keep your pets in good hands. A few weeks ago my baby Layla was sick and both Doctors made sure to run all tests necessary as quickly as possible to diagnose her, comfort her and give her the best care she could have received. Layla was so fast in recovering! Words cannot express my gratitude. The sincere care, recommendations and follow ups they give went above and beyond my expectations and I really appreciate it. Our pets are part of our family and they understand that, they treat them like family!
