My cat had some dental work done by Dr. Lawrence. Everyone on staff was so caring and easy to work with. The treatment plan was explained well and they followed up to check on her after her surgery. Sheeba is like a new cat after getting her bad teeth out and so happy! I feel comfortable leaving my cat in their care and would definitely recommend Dr. Lawrence.

We have recently Moved here from Northern Virginia and had not needed the services of a vet until our Westie developed a quick growing lump on her snout. On the recommendation of a friend, we made an appointment with Dr. Kizer. When I arrived I was a little skeptical because of the size and informality of the office. I learned quickly it was the way the team operated and they did a great job. I found it to be an efficient, professional, comprehensive and most of all caring. Dr Kizer was very kind, knowledgeable and honest in her assessment of what was going on with lump. Her approach to dealing with the lump was reasonable and not overly aggressive. After a course of antibiotics and observation, the lump was biopsyed and removed. It found to be benign. We like Dr. Kizer and her team and will be returning when we need other health care for our dog.

These folks are so helpful and accommodating. It's awesome to have to home visit option, especially for my cat, whose issues are not helped by car rides. They are upfront about costs and work with you to find the best solution you can afford, giving home solutions wherever possible. They're great with animals and obviously love what they do!

Dr. Kizer has been an absolute God send. She has helped me immensely with my dog, Trigger who was diagnosed with B cell lymphoma. She went above and beyond time and time again- even stayed late to help with a skin condition he developed from the cancer progression. She is a wonderful human, and a stellar vet.

These guys were awesome. My baby boy has a serious issue with riding in cars so getting to the vet office is a problem. The doctor and vet tech came to my house and really helped put him at ease. We ended up needing to go into the office after all but seeing them in his home really helped put Toby at ease. They were very understanding of his mental state and really helped keep us all as calm as possible.

We had to make the difficult decision to put down our beloved dog of 13 years. She was unable to make any kind of car trip so we call on Dr Kizer for help. She was kind, caring, informative, and above all empathetic. I don't really know how she is able to do what she does. OUTSTANDING and recommended without reservation.

We have been taking all of our pets to Dr Kizer for years. She has always treated our pets with compassion (and us too!) When we had sick and aging dogs she did a great job of guiding us through things and looking at all our options. We wouldn't go anywhere else!

I agree with all the one star ratings regarding this business. We attempted to establish a relationship with this Vet when we brought our 8 week old Schnauzer puppy home. Contrary to the position of the owner, the COVID-19 procedures were not explained to us. When we arrived for our appointment and opened the door to inquire, we were greeted with rudeness and disrespect by the Vet herself. She could possess the best Vet skills in the area, but we will never know because establishment of trust and caring between patient and doctor should be the first step. That didn't happen in this case. We have made an appointment with a Vet clinic of about the same size in a neighboring town. The clinic has similar COVID-19 procedures but, in this case, they were explained to us complete with what procedures to follow when we arrived. That's a good first step, and we'll see how it goes. We have had 4 Schnauzers prior to our new puppy, and they each lived 12 - 13 years so we are looking to establish a positive professional relationship with a good Vet over that period of time. If you are looking for the same, my opinion is that this clinic (Animal Health At Home) is not for you. Keep looking.
