When we moved to CS, we needed a dog groomer, a place for boarding, and occasional doggie day care. Americas country store has all 3, and they have exceeded our expectations! The staff here is friendly and helpful. Our dog throughly enjoys day care and it's worth every penny. He has a blast everytime and comes home worn out from all the fun. Our groomer here does outstanding work too. As a bonus, the store is stocked with everything you could think of for your pet. 5 stars. Check it out!

Peter and I live in Navasota, Tx and we drive to America's Country Store in College Station usually twice a month. Once for grooming and once for just a bath. We moved here in 2017 and after trying several groomers we decided we liked Marissa at America's Country Store the bestest. Peter was two when we started and he is now 9 yrs old. Everyone ther treats Peter as if he owned the place and he is spoiled just like I do at home. He has also been boarded there numberous times and is perfectly happy....who wouldn't be.....private room, patio, a/c, music....really.

We use the boarding facility for our 4 big dogs. We love the size of the rooms, the privacy our dogs have. We have toured many others, we don’t like our dogs to feel like they are in a jail cell. This facility is definitely the best for us.

The employees here are very unhelpful, I asked one of them a question about a product and location and they responded with "that's not a question for me," then turned their back to me. When I tried to ask another employee they said they had no idea what I was talking about. So I went elsewhere, and had much better customer service, and was able to find what I needed.

I am utterly shocked about the improvement my dog (Chex a Dalmatian) has made with the groomer Samantha. I first started taking Chex to her around 12 weeks old and it’s fair to say Chex was not the best client. Samantha assured me his apprehensive behavior was normal due to his uncertainty from his first bath and nail trims. I got to watch Samantha work with chex very patiently and even got to watch Chex start to adapt to his new environment and experience.
Chex is 4 months now and there is so much improvement from him. I will never shy away from Samantha. Samantha has put her time and her experience into my dog and it showed today. I got to watch him jump up on the table today and stand there perfectly letting her do his nails. I can’t believe how far my dog has come. I also couldn’t say anything nicer about the whole America’s Country Store and Pet Resort. I even got tips and tricks on training my dog. I have received so much positive feedback about my dogs mannerisms and I couldn’t have done it without the employees from the Americas Country Store and Pet Resort!

We took our 6 month old golden doodle for trimming around nails and stomach. We told them we want him to stay fluffy and not look like a poodle. They replied that they like to keep doodles fluffy as well. When we picked him up that is exactly what he looked like. Shaven top to bottom. I called and they stated they watched video and listened to our conversation and they told us that is what we told you we would do. That is not true and we wouldn’t have dropped him off if we knew that. Very disappointed with their response and lying about what was said when he was dropped off. The training we had leading up to this was fantastic but grooming not so much.

America’s Country Store has been great to Mack and me with their boarding service! They are always willing to do whatever it takes to deal with my difficult scheduling needs.
Plus, their grooming service! My old Mack goes in looking grumpy and stinky and comes out looking like a happy young pup!

THEY can handle some tough pets. We have 2 dogs, one that needs 2 helpers and a muzzle, the other that is grumpy about paws. Both are treated so well and handled great to get their nails cut! Staff is always extremely friendly.
