I want to say thank you to Amare Cremation for a wonderful experience that I had using their services. I recently had to put my baby girl of 18 years down at home using the services of Caring Pathways (they’re excellent too!) and the cremation was done by Amare. Amares staff was excellent throughout the whole process.

Amare offers a Witness Cremation where you are in a private room to have one last moment with your loving pet before they’re cremated. I would highly recommend this service as they clean and make your loving pet look nice and presentable before they’re cremated. This also allows you to grieve in private one last time before you say your last good bye.

If you want peace of mind in knowing that your pets ashes are their actual ashes do the witness cremation. You will get to see your pet go into the chamber and their ashes come out. You will also get to bring their ashes home after the viewing.

We sadly said goodbye to our sweet pup of 14yrs recently. Caring Pathways came to our home to assist in allowing our dog to pass peacefully at home. Following euthanasia, Amare Pet Cremation allowed my family a final viewing of our pup before cremation. They prepared our dog for the viewing, where he looked so peaceful, and provided a bit of closure that we didn't know we needed (or, how needed it really was).
The staff were great. They were very respectful of what was a very personal event for my family.
We're still very much grieving. We loved our dog so very much. I would highly recommend this business. Farewell my sweet love. ❤️

This review is for our sweet girl Akanke who passed back in July of this year. We were connected with Amare Cremation through Caring Pathways. We chose the Witness Cremation service and it was truly remarkable.

From what we understand it was a new service at the time and yet all of the details were just right. That speaks volumes to the care team who created such a wonderful space for families and their furry loved ones. The room was beautifully setup. They gave us ample time for a personal lei ceremony and to just talk to us about our girl and what she meant to us.

You can see that the whole team cares deeply about making these tough moments beautiful for families. The Witness Cremation service offered us a sense of peace and closure that we otherwise would not have had and for that we are so grateful.

I’m very thankful to Amare and its staff for how they handled the cremation of my girl’s (Ophelia) body after she had to be put to rest in October. The circumstances are awful of course but they were understanding, sympathetic, and sensitive to the process and what i was going through.

They offer a “witness cremation” for an extra fee. This probably isn’t for everyone but i chose to do it and am beyond happy that I did. The facility has a room with a large window where you can see your dog’s body placed into the furnace. For me, this offered some closure and some reassurance that the cremation was being done as i had requested. The room is comfortable and has a couch and a stocked mini fridge, much like a living room. It is set up for comfort and peacefulness. You get to sit with your dog one last time for as long as you like. She was cleaned up and as pretty as she could be. The staff did not rush me at all. For me, this was nice because even though Ophelia’s transition was peaceful, i was in such shock that i didn’t spend any time with her body after it was done.

Like i said, the witness cremation won’t be for everyone, but if you do choose it, Amari does it right and i think that you will be pleased. And if you don’t, their services are still fantastic.
