We own a lab/heeler mix, very protective and what seemed to be antisocial.
These people are so kind and attentive, we got her in a few daycare sessions and saw an improvement being around other dogs at the park. I think it’s taking her a while to warm up to staff but having been overnight boarded a couple times now she’s night and day different in temperament around other dogs now. Super impressed

I have a very shy and timid 130 pound mastiff. He just doesn’t care for strangers. He now wiggles and plays with his friends/staff at alpha. Each time I picked him up the staff was so determined to befriend my boy! They took time time to really get to know him. I can not say well enough about this facility. Very reasonably priced and Every staff member is kind and professional. My dog always comes home happy.

My pups vacation spot when I leave town. They are sooooo nice here! Our pups have been staying with Kirsten (correct my spelling) and staff for years now. They are quick to respond via email and promptly let me know if they have space or any details!

Great, professional, my dog loves them! I wish they were a bit better at returning calls. They are hard to get a hold of but they are always friendly polite and reasonably priced. We will be back.

I went to Alpha Valley on a Thursday afternoon. I had three dogs to be boarded with their shot records in folders. The person at the desk had a hard time finding their vaccination records. I was asked to phone the vet. The vet was unable to answer my call. Just as we were leaving she found the records. The dogs were accepted. When I got about five minutes away I realized I left my phone. I had my wife call and she was told that they had not seen my phone. We contacted them two times after that and they stated that they had not sent my phone. We were hosting my son's wedding. That was the reason that we boarded our dogs. I had to replace my phone. Four days later when we returned to pick up the dogs I saw my phone sitting on the desk. They had made no effort to let me know they had my phone. When we got the dogs back the dogs harness was not returned. It's been two days and I have called many times with no reply.

Now that I have written a review. You respond with lies. You claim that I harassed your staff and that you offered us our property. It's been two days and you have still not contacted me. I have responded to your email with no response. Nobody ever offered us a resolution or harnesses.
Day 3, I emailed you as you requested in your response to my review and still no response. You still have my property as you admitted in your response. Lying seems to come easy to you. If I would not have seen my phone on your desk, 4 days later and multiple contacts later, you would still have had that also.

Boarded several dogs, with nice leases and harnesses. They were suddenly lost. No communication what so ever until several days later. Still have not received our things back, and did not offer to replace or refund absolutely anything. Do not recommend unless you want your things stolen!!! Terrible customer service and extremely unprofessional. Refused to answer the phone. Its appalling how you continue to just flat out lie. You never offered our things back, You never contacted us, answered the phone, or ever offered anything to us. Or replace until now. Abuse your staff? You straight up stole two sets of kong leases and harness’s. Thats almost 200$. How would you feel. Then refused to provide any type of customer service to us at all. After you take our payment. Disgusted this is how you run your business. You are a liar.

We boarded our dogs at Alpha Valley for 4 nights just last week.

The staff seemed friendly enough, but I was taken aback that as a paying client I wasn't even allowed into the office, much less back to see where my dogs would be spending the next several days.

I gave very specific feeding instructions for my dogs and had sent an overabundance of food for the duration they would be staying and I was returned just a few kibble when I picked them up, so I'm sure they were way over fed.

One of my dogs came home acting very lethargic and depressed, then had explosive diaherra. He seemed very anxious and I'm not sure why.

All of their bedding I sent was returned absolutely filthy and smelly, so I was glad I had opted for the baths before I picked up, but I have no idea how much I actually spent for what because I was not provided with an itemized invoice.

The price was very reasonable, I'm just frustrated about not being able to enter the business, the lack of attention to feeding instructions, feeling in the dark about how much I was paying for what and how my one dog was acting when he first got home.

Not sure if I would return, or not.

There is also a lack in Communication. I emailed them days ago about my dog not feeling well and they have completely ignored me.

I picked up the dogs a week ago today and my one dog still won't eat much and is acting way off. Wish I could gain some more insight on this.

Alpha was absolutely awesome! Our dog came home clean, happy, running around, and jumping. I can tell she had an amazing time and had loads of fun. I will definitely be using Alpha again for boarding. Could not recommend Alpha Valley Boarding Kennel enough!
