Penny is a wonderful dog trainer who uses positive reinforcement to properly train any type of dog. She worked with our 4 month old golden retriever and provided tools and techniques to have an obedient and well behaved dog. She treats the dogs with respect, earns their respect and is a kind and gentle human being. Can’t say enough good things about her and how well behaved our pup is! We highly recommend Penny for all your training needs.

Penny helped with training my 3 small chihuahua dogs over the course of a couple months. All three dogs had issues with barking. She was able to give me the tools to correct the behavior by understanding where their behaviors were coming from. Her knowledge, understanding and positive reinforcement was amazing! I learned a tremendous amount of knowledge during our on-site sessions. All three dogs improved their commands and the barking decreased. I’m so very glad I found Penny and would highly recommended her if you are in need of course correcting. I can’t say enough good things about her and the experience!

Started working with Penny before bringing home our Bernedoodle and the advice and knowledge she shared with us even to prep for his arrival was priceless. Once he was home we had 8 sessions over the course of his “puppyhood” and we can say with all certainty things went as well as they could with a new puppy at home. I have worked with Penny to train my very energetic puppy since she was 3 months old to about 2 yrs of age. She has been amazing with all her many training tips and tools as and when my puppy needs changed as she grew. Not only is she a very knowledgeable and experienced dog trainer, she is also always available for concerns or questions via text/ phone/ email. She is quick to provide resources, videos to enhance your training.
I highly recommend her if you are looking to train your dog at any age. My dog absolutely adores her too.

Truly loved working with Penny! I learned a lot and for the first time felt like a trainer saw things from my point of view. The focus was on my relationship with Poppy and giving her the confidence she needs to make the right decisions. I really appreciated that and am seeing changes in Poppy. I hired Penny to help me with my adolescent Goldendoodle. She didn’t just help me train, she helped me understand the philosophy of a puppy/teenagers mind and helped me understand where his brain was, so I could be more patient and understanding that he was really doing his very best with where he was being that age. I also loved that she was so proactive in the positivity, creating a better bond with my pup and myself. This created a huge shift in my approach in training and ultimately the success thus far. Not just creating the bond, but creating a dog that can think for themselves rather than just going on command. I learned SO much with every visit. She listens to your concerns and goals and gives you the tools to achieve them. I highly recommend Penny as she’s not just a delight, but she also has tons of wisdom, knowledge, understanding and caring for both the dog and their owners.
