Sam and Adventure K9 LLC were fantastic! Sam is so knowledgeable and informative with dog behavior. She helped us with our 1 year old Lab and for a bit I wasn't sure we were going to make it to 2! :-0. Sam at Adventure K9 is the absolute best. We heard about her when we moved into our neighborhood, and upon adopting a puppy, we immediately wanted her help pointing him in the right direction. Over the course of six weeks, Sam gave us the tools and skills to mold our pup into a well-behaved dog. Her gentle presence is welcoming to all, and there wasn’t a question or issue that she didn’t have a solution to. We’d recommend her to anyone who wants a well-behaved dog.

I was in search of a dog trainer for my very timid golden retriever rescue. It had been a long year of struggling to get her confident to go out on walks, even in my quiet neighborhood! Sam set up a time to call me and go over options and come up with a plan. A month later Phoebe is much more confident! Sam is an incredible trainer. She's extremely knowledgeable, but communicates that knowledge in a way that is easy to understand and implement. We just finished a week of daily in-home training with Sam after the usual chaos of bringing home a puppy, and there has already been a marked improvement in the tone of our home and quality of life for us, our kids, our new puppy, and even our senior dog! We feel more confident and have so much more clarity on what our expectations should be and how to handle tricky puppy behaviors to set us all up for continued success and a fun, calm, happy life with our dogs. We were introduced to Sam through POSO rescue when we adopted our dog Gracie. Gracie has a lot of trust issues and is nervous around new people and situations. Sam quickly put her at ease and gave us guidance on how to make this easier for her. We were so pleased with the initial training that we did additional sessions. Sam's calm approach, ability to identify what works best for the individual dog, tools for the owners, and information on dog behavior was invaluable. It is obvious that she has a genuine desire to make our life with Gracie be successful and happy. We will use Sam's training in the future and highly recommend her!
