Michelle and the Abel Ranch are the best place in Colorado! Michelle does training, boarding and all dog services. She’s trained both my dogs and they stay with her for boarding too. The kennels are clean and the dogs get playtime, walks, training and baths before they come home.

We highly recommend Michelle and the Leasure Ranch K9 Academy. We were referred to Michelle years ago by our vet. We had an over active boxer puppy and desperately needed guidance. Within the first few moments of hiring Michelle it was abundantly clear that she has a gift for training animals. Our dogs immediately fell in line just with her presence. What's great about Michelle is that she trains the humans not just the dogs. We needed instruction on mistakes we were making that resulted in less than ideal behavior with our pet. And above all else, Michelle is a genuine person of great character. You won't be disappointed if you entrust her with your companions!

This is a review of the kennel boarding services at Abel Ranch. My dogs seem to be happy here. It is obvious that they are treated kindly and with respect. Attention is given for one of my dogs who has severe food allergies. I am comfortable leaving my dogs here when they can't be with me. Michelle is kind and caring and her employees are friendly. Five stars!

Smokey the doodle needed some good training after being rescued. He did the 4 week board and train and came home a new dog. He has manners, walks well, listens well - gets along wonderfully with all people and dogs. In addition to training the pups get socialization with other dogs and wonderful overall care. I intend to use Michelle and her crew for boarding when we leave town - easy trip to DIA after drop off.

Michelle and the amazing crew at Leasure Ranch K9 Academy did an amazing job with my then 10 week old lab Stella. We did a 4 week board and train program and not only did she come home behaving like a lady, but she also came home completely crate trained, socialized, leash and obedience trained. Michelle also included a follow up session after she completed the course to ensure that we both were doing well at home. We have since signed up for group classes and off leash training to continue her knowledge and strong desire to please her family. The facility is always clean and well kept and her crew genuinely cares for the dogs and clients that come through here. To this day, Stella gets excited every time we turn the corner to come to Leasure Ranch. Michelle is absolutely amazing with what she does with these dogs and the knowledge she has to share with us as their handlers. Her continuous support has been nothing short of amazing and I truly couldn’t be any more pleased with everything and everybody at Leasure Ranch K9 academy. They are phenomenal….

We have had a wonderful experience working with Michelle at the Leasure Ranch. Our yellow lab, Mabel, came back with great obedience skills after the 4 week board and train. WE also learned a lot. Michelle gave us a great "toolkit" for us to keep up with training once we got her back. 5/5 stars, would recommend to anyone who values having a well trained dog and is willing to learn! Also, the facility is dog paradise! I feel very comfortable leaving our pup there.

We recommend Michele and the Leasure Ranch K9 Academy. Our 2 aussiedoodles were terrorists. They didn't listen, basically did what they want, when they wanted to.
We did the 4 week board and train and couldn't be happier with the results. We now walk our dogs, not the other way around. They listen and are much more well mannered.
Yes, as owners, we have to follow up with the training that was done.
But our dogs are so much better and so much more enjoyable.

I LOVE Michelle and how she teaches our kids to train the dogs. She is patient and kind. She explains everything and demonstrates it. She is helping us w our new puppy as well as w an adult dog who has extreme separation anxiety. Ive never known how to train some of the things she teaches and our dogs are doing them in minutes with us!
