Dan has been a gift to our dog and her training process! Having had dogs my whole life, it was so great to see the benefits of the standard training we have done with our other dogs versus the training that Ruthie had with Dan. She is well behaved and more importantly, the most social and happy dog that we have had, for which I credit the work Dan has done with her since she was a puppy. My dog LOVES going to stay with Dan and his whole family, and it gives such peace of mind that she is so well taken care of when I am away. I love getting picture and video updates that Dan and Holly send, and am always reassured that she is at her “home away from home” while I am away.

Every other pet sitter/boarding we took our dogs to prior to Dan, our dogs spent the majority of the day in their crates. This is the best benefit to using “A better way to board” in my opinion. The dogs have access to a large yard throughout the day and this is included in the price. My corgi has been going to Dan’s for training and boarding since he was 8 weeks old and he wouldn’t have it any other way!

Molly actually is so excited for boarding— tail wagging and can’t wait to get out of the car! A Better Way to Board is the best boarding around! My dog has been going since he was 6 months old- and now four years later, we still say that it’s like Disneyland for dogs! This is a dogs equivalent of the happiest place on earth- all the running and playing they could want, socializing with the nicest pups, and so much attention from Dan and his amazing family. My dog Chaco is so excited to go and so content upon pickup!

Our girl Tink loves coming here! They have been so much more than just a place to drop our dog. They are family and home away from home when we travel. I don’t know what I would do without them. Dan is a skilled dog trainer and Tink gets the benefits of always learning, but playing with her doggie besties week after week (we are there twice a week for daycare, plus boarding). Their loving environment, care for our dog, fun with their family around and over all support is a dream come true for our fur baby. Five stars doesn’t seem like enough. Highly recommend!
