I recently brought my new dog there. My pup was recently rescued from a very abusive puppy mill, only leaving the cage to have puppies. Kim, the owner, was excellent with her. She also gave me excellent advice. My pup is constantly terrified and Kim calmly clipped her nails while soothing her.
The owner is exceptionally kind, extremely professional, and thoughtful to both the dog and the dog's caretaker. I was taking care of my daughter's dog after my daughter had been injured and had to leave the dog with a friend. The dog had been frightened and uncared for, for a few months. Also, I have severe allergies to fragrances. The owner was very gentle with the dog, used her own "invented" fragrance free shampoo, and brought the dog's trust and appearance back to a shiny, happy doggie self. I will always be very grateful for the owner's care and expertise during a difficult time for my family.

BEWARE !!! Don't take your fur babies here!! It's not a good, clean nor a safe place for your babies. She left my 3 babies unattended when I came to pick them up. One of the pups was hiding under a chair shaking. She groomed doodles and charged $ 120 each than wanted to charge additional fee. When I refused to pay She called the police on me. It was determined that I didn't have to pay the fee. Then I was enlightened by one of the officers onsite had a horrible experience with this lady in the past ! The next morning I had animal control at my door for too many dogs, per village code. But what she didn't nor need to know they weren't all my pets. Shame on you Kim, that as a groomer that just made $560.00 cash doing a service for people and their animals and you wanted more money you didnt get made you mad enough that you called the town i live in animal control. You could of had your clients pets become homeless or having to be rehomed because of greed, selfishness. How do you sleep at night? HORIBLE EXPERIENCE HERE!

The owner is the absolute best. My poodle is extremely skiddish. She freaked out at no fault of the owners, she's just a scared little pooch. She handled it extremely well and professionally and when I tried to pay her even though she couldn't preform the service, she wouldn't accept it. I just adore her. My lab did get bathed because she's an old pro and she smells lovely and loved her!
Ps the bad reviews on here are bs. We all know it lol

I have been using Kim to groom both of my dogs since since 2004. Never once had I ever had an issue. I didn't realize the grooming business is so competitive, and its a shame competitors have to leave fake reviews. Kim is amazing, she's great with dogs, and I would recommend her in a heart beat to anyone looking for their pets to be taken care of.

I wish I could leave a better review because the owner seems nice but she couldn't provide the service she advertises. I called yesterday to see if I would need an apt for a nail trim and she said no just to call beforehand to make sure she is there because she works with a lot of rescues offsite. $5 for a nail trim is a great price so I went in today and she said she couldn't cut my dogs nails because he has too much anxiety. She told me I needed to go to the vet to have this service done and recommended I give him medicine like CBD or benedryl to calm him down. My dog is a rescue that had been through a lot of trauma before I adopted him so I'm not sure how she works with other rescues that have anxiety. It didn't seem like she had the proper equipment to be able to cut his nails, as other groomers I have visited have the hammock the dog goes into while she only had a table with a neck slip. She also doesn't have any other staff to help her. I am just frustrated that I spent all morning trying to calm my newborn baby down and rush out of the house (hair still soaking wet) to get to this place on time for the service to not be performed. I just moved to the area and will have to find a different groomer that has the proper equipment and enough staff, as my previous vet suggested he be taken into a groomer because they did not have the grooming hammock either which makes it easier to cut his nails. This is nothing against the owner, I am just leaving some feedback that may be helpful to other owners that have dogs with anxiety.
