Lorraine is a rockstar dog trainer. Actually, she’s an amazing humans-with-dogs trainer. She listened to our challenges and came up with multiple strategies. She did not stop until we found a strategy that worked for our family. We are so impressed by her professionalism, thoughtfulness, empathy for dogs and humans, and obvious commitment to helping her clients succeed. She has been a blessing to our family. Lorraine at Love Up Pup has not only been an incredible dog trainer but I cannot believe how much I have learned about my dog and our relationship. She helps you look into why dogs do what they do so that you can better understand everything she brings to the training sessions. I can now read and understand my dog and I feel so much more connected to her. My anxiety has gone down and my excitement and confidence around being with her, walking and training her has gone way up. Lorraine explains everything is such a way that you can really understand. And her follow up is so thorough, her love and care for the people and dogs she works with is palpable. Lorraine is a "dog person" but she is also a "human person". She has kids and a family and she truly understands what is realistic and achievable for busy folks with jobs, family or whatever you have going on. She just gets it, she makes it work for your life. Dog training can feel so overwhelming and like a huge commitment to see even a little success. Lorraine knows how to work with your individual needs and she knows how to help both you and your dog be successful. She makes training your dog simple so you can pop in and train with just a few minutes a day. My pup has learned how to loose leash walk, wait at the door, quiet her anxious barking and to stop jumping on people. In addition she's learned so many cool tricks, more than I can name here. We practice it all almost everyday and I hardly have more than a few minutes a day for training. It works. Lorraine's programs work. I am so grateful for her well of wisdom about dogs and training and her overall realistic approach. She has been an incredible support for me, my dog and our family. Thank you so much, Lorraine.

I recently got a Pembroke Welsh Corgi and knew a trainer would be necessary. Love Up Pup was recommended to me by a friend and I decided to have a few sessions for the basic training of this very busy little pup. Lorraine came to my house and in just a few hour sessions, had my little boy learning all kinds of commands. She also taught me how to fill his sniffing needs and it was amazing to see the results! She definitely is a Five Star trainer and I would recommend her to my friends for their pet training needs. 🐾❣️

I am so grateful for Lorraine and how much she has taught me about positive reinforcement and training with my dogs! My 95-lb golden retriever used to be difficult to walk; he would pull so much that it wasn't enjoyable for either of us. Within 2-3 sessions with Lorraine, he was a different dog! She also has helped with my other female golden, who is high energy, and somewhat of a spaz (but very sweet). Lorraine has been helping to teach me about the importance of enrichment and keeping her busy, so she doesn't get herself into trouble. Two different dogs, with two VERY different personalities, but I feel like we are making such great progress with the training!

Lorraine came into our lives at the right time! Little did we know, her way of training would forever change our outlook on dogs, their behaviors and how we can better understand their needs! I’ve had dog trainers in the past and struggled to enjoy it with my dog Bella because she seemed anxious and stressed at times. Lorraine’s approach is centered around being aware of your dog’s body language, meeting their needs for enrichment, and implementing fun training techniques and activities that bring us together. Bella has had 2 sessions and she has shown sooo much progress already! She’s a happier girl and my husband and I feel more equipped to communicate with her. We are getting another puppy and will definitely be working with Lorraine so we can build a positive relationship from the start! Trust me, you will not regret working with her. We need her gentle approach and her unique understanding of how we can add to their quality of life while also meeting our need of building a better connection.
