Meat is old, I purchased a pack of ground beef and the bottom was brown and it was hidden with a pink fresh top, owner only cares about his wine and doesn’t care for staff or deli. During the summer, flies were all over the food, which is quite GROSS. I do NOT want to eat flies in my food. I’d rather go out of town than visit that place. Their only good things are the French bread, which is made fresh every day, and their sandwiches.

Unfortunately it’s the only grocery store in the area. MAKE SURE TO CHECK THE DATE ON MEAT. Got home and realized late that the chicken had a freeze by date 2 weeks before today, so it was rotten. Poor produce quality due to low volume sold. Best to get your meat and produce from Davis or Vacaville.

Disgusting, place should be shut down, the owner needs to be shut downfor continuing to sell rotten food..there needs to be another grocery store in town so this store can’t keep getting away with this, Lorenzo’s will be out of business fast ..
Ribs slimey rotten and smell like all their meat coolers, will be reporting this to the health department
This review keeps getting taken down this is the 3rd time putting it back up and I will keep posting it every time Lorenzo pays to remove it..
I hope everyone starts posting pictures of their rotten food they buy there…
These ribs are right out of the bag 3 minutes after I bought them…
Guess what everyone that goes to the deli is eating.. rotten food they cook and serve at their deli instead of throwing it out …

I took the long way home just so I had a reason to stop at Lorenzo's Market.
If you're ever in Winters, and it's lunchtime there are plenty of options for great food...But, if you're looking for a handmade sandwich from a honest delicatessen you gotta go to the delicatessen in the Lorenzo Market. The sandos are made to order using only the freshest of ingredients just like you'd make yourself. 5 stars all day. ☆☆☆☆☆

Prices a tad high. Plus need fly cloth over deli food. No one wants to buy food that they can see Flys crawling all over!

I’m not gonna talk about the expense… But almost everything they have produce and meat wise either expires that day or has expired a couple days before. Their meat department is one of the worst I’ve ever seen. They sell T-bones, but they cut the fillet side off. So you have the bone that’s in a T and a New York strip. It is not a T-bone steak. It is priced by weight so you have this massive bone on the New York strip. I asked the meat department if they had a T-bone, a real one. The man behind the counter didn’t realize T-bones had a New York strip and a fillet and that’s what a T-bone is. He checked to see if they had any T-bones that the fillet side wasn’t cut out and they don’t carry them. They also don’t sell fillets. Most everybody is now shopping across the street at the dollar store because they are now selling groceries at a decent price and better looking produce . I wish I could speak highly of them but other stores look better, are cheaper, better selection, you actually get what you’re paying for and is not expired. Staff is super nice. They are the reason that I gave three stars.
