The team at EZ Pups was great! At first I was apprehensive to do board and train because it is sometimes expensive and also results may vary once they get out of the training environment. We sent both of our 3 year old pups to the team at EZ Pups for the 6 week board and train to help with leash manners, advanced obedience, and off leash recall. The team went above and beyond, and when we got our pups back they were like new dogs! We were worried they would come back without their personalities and fun quirks we like but everything was the same, but now they are a dream on the leash/off leash and in the home! Before they had no recall and now they are great and we can take them to dog beaches/parks without worry that they won't listen to us. It is truly freeing. Andrew always sent timely updates and was extremely responsive when we would worry about them or have questions. On our follow up we had the opportunity to get more training and continue to positively reinforce the training that was provided by the team at EZ Pups. If you are on the fence for training, do it with EZ Pups. San Diego is very dog friendly and it is 10x better when you can indulge in all the dog friendly activities with your furry friends without stress. Thanks again for the great experience!

My dog Riley would drag me around with the leash, would want to chase after bicyclists, and other dogs. I had a 70 lb dog jumping up on me with excitement every time he saw me. He also wouldn’t get along with our two senior poodles. After looking into training facilities, I brought my belgian malinois here at a desperate attempt to change him. He spent a little over six weeks with ezpups, and we got him back a completely changed my handsome baby! He no longer jumps up on family members, doesn’t have an aggressive compulsion to chase after any breathing thing he comes across, he gets along with the other dogs in our home. And I can walk him without any issues! Thank you so much to his trainers over at ezpups in San Diego, you guys have allowed us to take him out in public areas without any issues. I will bring him back for further training! 🙂

I have a Husky named Simba and he was extremely aggressive to other dogs and stubborn! I had tried multiple different trainers and training techniques. EZ Pups was my last resort. I did the board and train and it was the best decision I’ve ever made. We left him with EZ Pups for 4 weeks. We were allowed to visit and see him during the 4 weeks. When we picked him up it was night and day difference. He was a new dog! We can now take him out in public and he loves make new friends. EZ Pups has the best team, and I recommend everyone to work with them for any dog training needs.

Just wanted to take the time and shout out Joe and the rest of the staff at EZ Pup! The staff here at EZ Pups communicated well, built trust with not only my dog, but with us as owners, and worked with our dog day in and day out to reach the needs we needed to train our cattle dog. We put our Roxy in the board & train program for about a month. The progress of obedience in which we saw from drop off to pick up was astonishing. I’ve already told friends, family, and dog owners I see around town about the training Roxy received. Having a cattle dog ain’t for the weak, but big thank you to these guys for training Roxy and training us as owners! Big shout out to Joe for making us feel like family! Thank you guys!

I want to thank Joe and the EZ PUPS team for the amazing training they provided for Bruno!! Bruno had some issues with pulling when walked and some aggression toward other dogs. After four weeks of board and train, Bruno came home a totally different dog!! I highly recommend EZ PUPS!! Joe was also quick on responding to any questions or concerns I had and he was always flexible with his time when I wanted to come visit Bruno!! The EZ PUPS TEAM is hands down the BEST!! From the moment I frist messaged EZ PUPS, Davin has been there 100%. I was on a quest to find a trainer before I even got a dog and also doing tons of research on both dogs and trainers. Then one week later I was surprised with a 5 month old malinois with fear aggression by my husband (Thanks dear). Thankfully I already had an appointment to meet Davin and was able to bring my girl. Right off the bat I could see he was very experienced with reactive dogs and he was so compassionate towards her which put me at ease. I knew it was going to be the perfect fit and he gave me hope. He's also experienced in dog sport too if you're into that which is so cool to practice with my Mal. With the help of Davin and lots of love, my puppy is doing Amazing! I wouldn't trade her for anything in the world. There are a ton of trainers in San Diego and if you're on the fence don't hesitate to call. I referred my best friend and her Bernadoodle puppy and they've made tremendous strides too. Thank you Ez Pups!!

I have some decent knowledge with dogs but I wanted to learn more and work on some off leash training. I have done 3 sessions with Davin and what a difference it made. Davin is very knowledgeable dog trainer and just a solid guy in general. The basics I have learned with him has really helped my bond with my dog as well as gotten him very obedient and well mannered. This last weekend I took him on his first commercial flight and he did amazing! He laid right by my feet for the hour and a half flight, the flight attendant even mentioned how well behaved he was not even knowing it was his first time. I highly recommend!

Our Ausidoodle Roscoe is a great dog but full of energy. Before we took him to EZ Pups we really had a hard time taking him out for walks do to constant pulling, barking at people and at other dogs. We decided to take him to EZ pups. We met with Joe he told us all about the programs they offer and decided to go with their board and train program. It was the best investment we made towards our dog! During the this time Joe was in communication with us, sent us some pics and videos of Roscoes progress.
Roscoe came back with a new attitude, still the same energetic dog but with better self control and obedience. He obeys all basic commands and we are now able to take him for walks on a lose leash!
Its great program.
