We’re so glad we found Marilyn and Jarahaus K9. Our 9-month-old pup was anxious and guarding. He was beginning to show aggression toward our youngest child and, occasionally, visitors in our home. Although he knew some basic training commands he wouldn’t always follow them when it mattered most. We live in a city and knew that for his safety and ours we needed to address his behavior and improve our training right away.

Six weeks from meeting Marilyn, I have no doubts that her board and train services were the right investment for us. Marilyn has a caring but no-nonsense approach to training. We were worried that our stubborn pup would shut down but she set the right pace to build trust. After a slow start, his training took off and we could see from the videos she shared that he enjoyed learning the commands. When something wasn’t working, she was able to work through it and keep him positive about training.

It was very hard for us to send our dog away and entrust him with a trainer, but the change has been remarkable. Our dog is more confident, less anxious and we now have a shared language for behavior that really works. We would wholeheartedly recommend Marilyn to others and are so grateful for her caring expertise.

We originally contacted Marilyn for training sessions for our 8 month old active puppy. We have been training with her for for about 7 months now and could not be happier. She helped our very hyper pup with leash training, puppy behavior, and doing well in public places. We were so happy with our experience we started training our very nervous 2 year old covid puppy to help with his confidence. Since then we have also boarded with Marilyn and our dogs are always happy and not stressed when we pick them up. So grateful for Marilyn!

Marilyn is the best , we are so thankful to have her board our dog, it’s comforting to know she will be taken care of and she so enjoys going to Jarahaus! There’s no separation anxiety and we enjoy the updates we get. Could not be a more satisfied client !

We did both private lessons and a bit of boarding. Thorry is a pro at stay, heel, come even if he is not very food motivated. They figured out what Thorry likes more, and trained by using that (play, a lot of play time).

Overall we are very happy with the results, and every time when we need care for thor we bring him here. And Thor loves it, he is very happy to go in every single time
